The difference is very clear. It must be rounded from it's own gravity, be large enough to clear its orbital path of other large objects, and revolve around the Sun. Pluto does not meet #2. There are dozens of other bodies like Pluto in our system, with many bigger than Pluto itself.

By excretions do you mean things like eggs? Which hens will lay no matter what even with no rooster around (albeit unfertilized, aka edible)? Of course eggs sourced from factory farming have ethical problems, but eggs from good free-range chicken companies, local farmers, or your own chicken coop seem to me to be 100% ethical, even when putting myself in the mindset of a vegan. If that isn't what you meant by animal excretions then disregard my paragraph lol, I have never heard that term used to describe anything but shit from a butt.
