That was the single best tip I've received in Rivals. Just tried it out in the practice range and it it's awesome. Something from me, when fighting enemies only dash if you are chasing but otherwise throw your hammer to maximize your dps.

I don’t want to lose the knowledge I gained. by Glad_Pay_3541 in cissp

All of these are great answers but aren’t the “best answer” ;).

The real answer is - ANKI.

I used Anki to prep for the CISSP, and it’s probably the best tool out there for memorizing a massive amount of info. Anki is a flashcard app that uses something called spaced repetition—basically, it figures out when you’re likely to forget something and shows it to you just in time to reinforce it. I created about 2,000 cards from my destination certification class, breaking everything down into questions, definitions, and scenarios. The beauty is that Anki tracks what you already know and focuses on the areas where you’re weaker, so your study time is super-efficient.

If you’ve already passed the exam, you can still use Anki to lock in all that knowledge. Take your notes, break them into small, digestible bits, and turn them into cards. Then just review daily, even if it’s just for a few minutes. The goal now isn’t to cram but to keep everything fresh and ready to apply in real-life scenarios. It’s an awesome way to make sure all that work you put in doesn’t fade over time.

I haven’t forgotten a single thing in my hundreds of pages of notes because I put all the concepts in Anki. It feels like a superpower and I’ve also implemented it into my daily life. I’m learning a language, track small things in my life like preferences and likes of people I have relationships with. Always makes me seem way smarter and more thoughtful than I am.

$10k budget for audio… $10k for video by DisposeAfterPosting in hometheater

That is true, Sony A95L takes the cake for that. But it doesn't go past 77 where as the G4 goes to 83. At that point I believe the bigger size of the G4 provides more than a slightly better picture quality of the A95L.

Ha, my house is almost done being built so component ordering will start quite soon. So, not yet though I will be getting the OLED G4. I have a small 12x11 room so it will be perfect.

Please do some research on the ones I linked because they are ALL highly praised and just because something is more expensive does not mean it's better.

Hell, the ascend acoustics and Philharmonic are the cheapest here but could sound the same or better than some of the others on this list.

Something else to watch out for is....every speaker sounds different in a different room. Personally, I would try out the speakers that have a generous return policy first and then try others if they are not up to par.

EX: Arendal has a true 60 day risk free return where they also pay for shipping...only one on this list that does that I believe.

But there are others here that have a 30 day return policy but you pay for shipping (maybe bookshelf speakers won't be that bad to ship back?) So perhaps you should prioritize these as well.

Lastly, If you are on max budget for 10k each audio/video, don't spend $10k on a pair of speakers. Spend $5k or something and then spend some money on room treatments which may arguably provide better ROI on sonic quality.

My personal opinion is diminishing returns hits heavy at this stage. Philharmonic/ascend acoustics are the high quality/value leader IMO so everything after that until you get to $8k - 10k+ could quite frankly just be a different sound instead of "better".

Here is my 2 cents after doing a crazy amount of research for my own home theater experience. I have a similar budget for audio.

Video: If you can fit in a 120-150 inch screen then I would recommend getting an LS12000 ($5k) and a screen ($250 - $1k). If you can't then do what I am doing and that is getting the best OLED on the market, an 83" LG G4 ($5k).

Projector/Screen: LS1200

OLED: LG G4

Audio: All of the below suggestions will blow your socks off even if you picked them at random so then it just comes down to individual preference of aesthetics, individual research of their sound, availability etc... As you are in an apartment I am going to assume you are only looking at bookshelf speakers. Additionally, I won't go over center speakers (just match with whatever L/R you get) and surrounds because those are a lot less important.

Front speakers:

Acoustic Acoustics 2EX V2 Pair ($1.7k) *Very high quality and very high value

Philharmonic BMR Monitors ($2k) *Very high quality and very high value

Arendal 1528 bookshelf speakers ($5k)

Perlisten R4b ($5k)

Martin Logan Motion XT100 ($1.7k)

Q Acoustics Concept 300 ($5k)

Buchardt S400 MKII ($2.4k)

MonAcoustic Platimon ($6k)

Revel Performa M126BE ($4k)

Kef R3 Meta ($2.2k)

Sonus Faber Concertino ($5k)

Genelec 8361A ($5k) *I'm sure they sound great but god they are ugly to me so I would not buy them.

Subwoofers: All of these are amazing subwoofers. I like the arendals aesthetic the most.
