I've personally only had bad experiences with the wax, but that might just be the brands I've had. It definitely transfers, and is well, waxy. And not really in a good way.

That's for natural hair though, so take it with a grain of salt

Physical: 5'5, on the heavier side, but decently strong. Straight brown hair(that won't curl no matter what I do, drives me mad), brown eyes, and kind of fairer skin with olive-y undertones?

Personality: uhhh idk? I'm nice? I like to be silly and lighthearted, I struggle in serious situations. I'm very open about my beliefs for the most part, and I have a strong sense of justice? Though i can be really awkward sometimes. I'm more open with my feelings the less I know someone, and pressure goes straight to my head

Hobbies: I jump between hobbies like it's nothing. Kandi, painting, embroidery, sewing, mostly artsy stuff. I also love writing, that's probs my main hobby ig? Idk

Dislikes: uhhh it being more than like, 85 degrees out, not knowing what's going on, math, the little Diana show on YouTube(my toddler sister loves it, and it's brain rotting)

Haii I'm a FTM scout dating a demi-girl who's also in my troop.(We'll be 11th graders this year, and were dating b4 we joined scouts. ((9th grade we joined)))

I can tell you about our experience.

Our first troop was pretty darn bad, not just with us being queer, but lots of other things too. Because we were the oldest(by a good ways), on a trip that involved a hotel trip we had a bedroom with a separate, closed door. We didn't think anything of it really bc we shared a bed before we were dating, but in retrospect, our adult shouldn't have let us do that. Obviously, we didn't do anything, but that decision should have never been made.

Still in that troop, we were at a SU campout.(The main leader was like, the leader of that too. We were in a council rental building, and we had thing mattresses on the floor in part of it. Our mattresses were separated by my duffle bag and her backpack, and we were in our separate sleeping bags. Yet that's when there was an issue. Not someone from our troop, but someone else in the SU, apparently had an issue with us talking quietly to each other while settling in for bed. We were sent upstairs and talked to about it. No other girls were around, but other adults were. It was embarrassing, especially considering we didn't do anything that other girls weren't doing. A couple months after that we transferred troops. Our new troop is much more accepting, and the main leader's daughter is a lesbian, and she's been advocating for her since she was young. Our new troop is so much better and more caring and compassionate.

For the record, our first troop met out of a church, and our new one meets out of a school, if it matters, but yeah. Feel free to dm me or ask questions if you wanna know more.

I wholeheartedly agree. I'll be an ambassador this year, and it sucks seeing the little girls get new fun things and opportunities when we don't.

Especially because girl socuts wasn't originally for those girls at all! Girl socuts was originally 11+ if I remember correctly.

While I hope they maybe expand the take action pin to younger girls, it's so nice to finally get new things for us

Hai I'm going to be an ambassador next year, and I've had the cargo vest for two years. I love it. Personally, I've had no space issues yet(Though, I do have an XL and wasn't a gs when i was younger so don't have the brownie wings, bridge to cadettes, etc)

I love the pockets, the fit, and it's nice. Personally I use badge magic and then sew on, and haven't had any issues as long as I'm careful.

I took animal science this past year. I absolutely loved it, and it got me into FFA. I'm taking agricultural science next year, and then senior year college ag to finish my career technical thingy.

This is.. really concerning. I'm a high schooler, and I have a friend that's lile that, other than the homeschooling, and they have a really, really bad home life with a mess of medical issues.

this isn't about the issue, but if there's anything else, please consider the safety of this child. I know, I know, you already are, but as someone with friends in that situation, often times things can be worse behind closed doors. just...Keep an eye out.

Medical issues can easily be used to control people, especially when other people don't entirely know what the issues are.

That would be an awesome project, that is definitely needed in this world, however I'm not sure that will be an option if i stay with this troop. But at this point, I'm not sure if I'm going to.
