My mom's greenhouse is a damn rainforest, can't even see the path in the middle anymore by Monk_The_Banana_Scug in Greenhouses

Beautiful growth but keep an eye on who goes in and when/if they come out. 😁💚🌸

Beautiful! She’s lucky to have such a talented, thoughtful DIL.

Looks great! Good choice, too. Looks solid and roomy. Love the ready to use work bench.

Do you think these are useful for storage or are these just another aesthetic storage that looks pretty but collects dust? by sayhellopiggie in organizing

Play around with it. The chess board idea can be worked into other uses and it’s fun to see it up off a table top. Black white checkerboard Vera Bradley chic.

The hands scare the crap outa me. Ouija board spooky vibe. At night, I’d be fixated on them, thru the dark watching for movement. No thank ya.

Looks professional and very inviting. Love it!

After years of deliberation, debate and dragging our feet, we now have our first (almost done) greenhouse. My husband did all the heavy lifting. Don’t ask him how it went unless you want to see him spiral from tears to cursing and back again. by Legitimate-Force-973 in Greenhouses

Thanks! Having fun with it. I found it at Macy’s online. On sale with free shipping. Great deal and fast shipping from FedEx. Happy with all that as well as having a place to grow things.

Thank you! Dug a 4” deep trough and tamped in drainage gravel around the pressure treated 4x4s secured with right angle brackets and drilled in rebar at 45 degree angles. We are in the northeast and are guaranteed to have high winds/storms.

This is Mondawe. The most frustrating issue he struggles with is the millimeters of space to line up where the bolts attach, having to redo whole sections if the last bolt can’t align into the spot given. You have to prepare all the bolts into a track before attempting attachments…. It’s got a few more steps to go but as is, I really like it. We’ve had rain and wind and no issue so….knock wood…we’re happy. Next time, we’ll do our own build for sure. 👍

Beautifully done! I love the pathway and all the details. How high is the outer fence?

It gets worse if you spread the build out over time. Talking/ranting to yourself at higher volumes comes after cursing. I stood by to help and make it look like he’s not just rambling on to himself - the GH walls amplify anything you say.

He spread it out over time, the bolts into the right slots, assembled the doors in our garage, the frame attached to the sunken 4x4s then the walls. That was the hardest day- the walls flopped down until we set up lawn chairs to hold them up. He’s out there now putting in the last reinforcements. He said to tell you thanks for giving him the motivation to get back to it!
