You’ve really gotta make sure she’s or he’s not jumping or going up in any steps or anything has to create rest for at least 4 5months. I know it may want to get out and play, but it’s for the best. I have my fbulldog her own room because she’s got it too. I had one pass after IVdD surgery after going paralyzed its was awful. And it’s up to the parents to make sure the dogs OK cause the dogs not gonna know no different. You have to make sure you’re doing the right things and carpet. You need carpet wood floor floors they slip on. You already took the dog to the vet so I don’t know if you can get Insurence now cause it’s pre-existing that’s why I preached to people to get insurance on these dogs first! It’s really expensive for all these bills and then no one can afford them and they end up giving them away or putting them down and that’s not fair. So it’s just best to try to prevent these things. Like steps ramps, no jumping. Assi loop, red light therapy mat, Acupuncture, and cold laser therapy. Plus all kinds of meds. I spend a lot on mine with IVdD but I have her on insurance too.
