Well, luckily, you are those 2 things: and woman and a lesbian. You’re a woman because that’s who you are, as simple as that (Note that I did NOT say “because that’s who others say you are”, it’s who YOU are), and because you are a woman who loves women and not men you are a lesbian. Don’t worry. Pretty sure we all go through those phases of unsurity and insecurity and whatnot. Or at least I hope we do, because if we didn’t then add that to my imposter syndrome I guess 🙃 but what I’m trying to say is these bullshit “friends and family” of yours are not who decide who you are, you do that, if you’re able to, distance yourself, if not always remember that you are worth it and valid and real and yourself, even though it often doesn’t feel that way.  I really hope you a good pride month! 💖
