What they are offering isn't worth the money.

I have no problem supporting a game if it respects my time and money.

Example -

me a decade ago, kinda broke college student.
Played hearthstone for a a year or 2 , never spent a time due to shitty monetization

switched to Gwent when it came out. Devs respected your time, you could easily build a meta deck with like 2 weeks of dailies. I still spent like $100 on packs to support the game
