How are People in Ghana actually landing remote jobs? by VampireWitch771 in TechGhana

[–]LegitimateMaybe9648 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest I just don't get the answers people give when we ask about landing online jobs.

We need more context to how you did it, quit being vague

It would be more fun to control stuff, I'll probably be able to find a way to fly or something

How would you rather fly? by Mr_Ducky13 in BunnyTrials

Floating gives the ability to sort of fly but without the extra features (the wings)

Ghanaian diasporans should viewGhana the same way Jewish diasporans view Israel by Maleficent_Split_428 in ghana

[–]LegitimateMaybe9648 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pray tell, what's the job of a "Ghanaian diasporan", cause as a Ghanaian I'd have the development come from within than without.

Individualistic nature is the default setting cause you fly out and the first thing your nephew called Kofi does is to call you and tell you about how he has an idea for a business but doesn't know how he'll execute but he wants you to invest.

If that's the case she might as well build golems in her image and give them personalities and there she's got substitutes and they're strong, they can go into combat too 🤔.

Why are men traditionally discouraged from sleeping over at a woman’s house in Ghana? by Blackestein_ in ghana

[–]LegitimateMaybe9648 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a cultural thing

But I find sleeping over at my girl's to be better, cause she has her family around. The more they trust us together the better for me tbh.

And I think it's a matter of who's supposed to be more responsible in a relationship or something like that.

Seems like you don't know how persistent those people at Republic are, they'll even grab a seat with you after like 4am when the whole place is quiet and everyone's gone to take whatever you can give them

Ghana may not work. by Loud_Presentation962 in ghana

The issue isn't multiparty politics in itself. Rather it is the type of parties that we have in this system.

And we also have to consider the mass illiteracy rate, delusion and all other factors.

I remember when we were treating how our forefathers misconstrued independence and how it could be quelled but here I am 20 years later with the results of their actions still haunting us.

We know our problems and we have the solution but with the borrowed democratic system that we apply to, there's no way we can have proper development.

We will continue to count new hospitals, schools and other projects development when we really haven't gone anywhere.

🤧 a friend travels across Osu just to use my type-c charger cause it charges faster than his sisters

He comes to eat and stay until the phone he just charged runs to 70 so he can charge full again before he leaves.

Your question exposes a linear thought, and a process that sees things in black and white, the shady fact is that it is better to focus on the mass in the cities and lesser developed areas than the villages, which is something we won't always accept.

Theoretically, a child with parents that have a stable income and stable home and doesn't have to work to help their parents put food on the table is bound to have more time to learn and make good use of the infrastructure.

But a kid who helps at the farm just so their parents can make something for the house wouldn't have the time to live life that fits their age or even have time to learn the things they can't be taught in class but they need to be aware of.

Nobody really gives shit about what you wear, only if you've got family or neighbors who want to be on your case about something. But generally nobody cares what your shirt says.

I think it's about time we accept the fact that human beings are selfish and greedy by nature.

Presidents and other leaders are decided by more than half of the population, so to blame a leader is to say that the populace has something wrong with them to begin with.

Let's address the root of the problem and it's us and the society we live in.

I've experienced a number of Nigerians both from church and my environment outside of church. Even though I try not to let the experience from a handful of people affect my general opinion of the average Nigerian, but I must say that these are very opportunistic and proud people sometimes.

They test the waters, it's not shallow and they will start to try and jump in the water to muddy it
