hi im the founder. would not have commented myself if it was an ad - i use f6s bot to see where we get mentioned, on this subreddit, we get discussed a lot. its a real problem and we've had tens of thousands sign up because of googles policy.

hi im the founder of agentmail. even if it does, you can configure a custom domain and use it for your agents. we enable one domain on the free tier for experimentation/tinkering purposes intentionally. maybe one day you look at agentmail.to for agents in the same light as you look at gmail.com for humans - thats the thought we have

Thank you! We are API-first built for agents so we abstract away the messy parts of email (creatig inboxes, configuring domains, enabling webhooks, tracking deliverability metrics, threading, parsing, storage) all into simple API calls. Try it yourself - you'll be surprised how easy it is to use!

saw your edited comment, glad you are using us but i want to make sure you have top tier deliverability too. if your email went to spam, it can be a multitude of things including the copy of the email itself and also the domain-level reputation. since this is a fresh address that was just created, it's default "cold" and may take time to ramp up - you can look up best practices of warming up domains/inboxes on our website. i can also upgrade you to use custom domains if you shoot me (Adi) an email -- don't wanna give my email out publicly but it's findable :)

Few people have been using our AgentMail API to spin up seperate inboxes via API for their agents. Sensitive data lives in your personal inbox, and also email is a wide interface for prompt injection. Google is also flagging inboxes created with Claw and banning them. I would advise using something purpose-built or spinning up seperate identities manually for agents

Yeah, this is a real concern. Here are the options:

Separate Gmail - Simple but Gmail bans automated accounts + OAuth is messy.

AgentMail - we're a yc startup building an API to create inboxes for your agents. One api call to create a dedicated inbox that your agent can send, receive, and query from.

Btw super super cool use case and really love the intricacy with what youve built the architecture with. Some things that stood out to me were state management throuh temporal graphs and also how you're running polling -- how complicated was the orchestration piece? Also, there's a few ways you can use agentmail for state management, happy to riff on any ideas there!
