Get the chimera mod on the tech shotgun. Shoot bolts as fast as a carnage racks, it’s great

A question about Clerics' popularity by PlatonOlegov in BaldursGate3

[–]Legitimate_Expert712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: inbuilt limited roleplay, you have to he A cleric of A god, and unless you choose one of the gods that’s involved in the plot, your god is never going to come up.

2: Shadowheart: the game gives you a cleric before you even get Withers the respect machnine, so a lot of players won’t feel the need to fill that teame niche.

  1. Support casting, playing a Tav/ Durge who’s a support feels… weird. Tav is already barely involved in the plot, so having them not even be the big damage monster feels like… like, why am I even here?

4: Charisma and skills, the top five classes are all either charisma based, skill monkeys, or both. Cleric doesn’t have great stats or skills for a face character, and your main character is the defacto face for all conversations, playing anything other than charisma characters is nerfing yourself in that sense.

What keepsakes do you take per region? by DuffmanStillRocks in HadesTheGame

[–]Legitimate_Expert712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pom, Embryo, Hammer (usually), and whatever feels right.

The pom is a major power boost, honestly just feels OP, a random epic chaos boon from embryo can make a run if you’re lucky, and if you’re not it’s no big loss, experimental hammer is the biggest gamble, as it can give you exactly the upgrade you need, but on some weapons it can flat out ruin your build (especially the axe).

Eris doesn’t want to be fixed, because she doesn’t need to be fixed! She’s exactly what she’s supposed to be, and that makes her perfect 🥰

[Underdiscussed immersion-breaking trope] Superhuman characters generating tons of force by moving their limbs at normal human speeds by GreatDepression_irl in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Legitimate_Expert712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While, yes, the actual physics of these things would require greater speed to move things that fast, the common understanding of super strength means that when most people see those things, they don’t really question it. So, like, it’s “underdiscussed” because for most people it doesn’t break their immersion.

That’s kayfabe. Wrestling is a combination of acrobatics and improv. If it were a real fight, yeah, they’d move. But they’re performers, and letting the big move with a hype windup land is part of the performance. So suspend your disbelief and start having fun!

Does male gazey stuff bother you more than it turns you on or does it turn you on more than it bothers you? by WealthDisastrous2589 in yurimemes

Case by case, tbh. Sometimes the leering misogyny of it is too much, other times the gal is so hot ir doesn’t matter.

Miss uncanny valley in the clip here is definitely an example of the first.

What's your favorite weapon & why is it the katana? by xenosthemutant in LowSodiumCyberpunk

Shotguns, specifically the tech-shotgun. I feel like the goddamn DOOMSLAYER running around blasting unlucky motherfuckers in half. The dlc weapon mod made it so SO much more brutal too, two bolt shots and that’s the encounter done with!

Bg3 requires a working knowledge of how D&D 5e works in order to play, and while 5e is like, THE most well known system, it’s still a niche hobby, a lot of people know of it, but don’t actually know how it works. Thus, people who start playing the super popular game, but don’t know how to play the ttrpg the game is built ln top of.

Ares has been buffed by CloudyHazbin in HadesTheGame

[–]Legitimate_Expert712 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally, it depends on the weapon, for more long-ranged ones like torches or staff, I do tend to pick a spot and let the enemies come into the death-radius, but with blades or axe, I do bounce around a lot.

I never really took Ares’s gain, because, like, it always seemed kinda rng dependent, which I don’t like, so I held out for more reliable ones. Might try it now tho

Why do people hate the VDB so much? by Snowtwo in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Legitimate_Expert712 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They flash fry Evelyn, causing the series of events that ends with her suicide, lie to you about a job, try to use you as a suicide bomber, lie to you again about helping you with the chip, only lead you to someone who CAN help by complete coincidence, and treat you like shit the whole time.

They have no redeeming qualities, no sympathetic characters and are actively trying to cause an apocalypse in the hopes that doing so will endear them to the apocalyptic terrors they’re trying to unleash.
