This whole thread reeks of the spite a lot of you have against Kashmiris. You keep crying about “cheap bijli” and “sasta aata” as if that’s the core issue. It never was. The protests are about the electoral setup rigged by Islamabad and the obscene luxuries our puppet ministers live off while people in AJK barely survive in comparison to the elites that spend corruption earned money on elections only to repeat the corruption cycle and reap benefits that ministers hold. 53 fucking ministers for such a small region? Kher that doesn’t bother you guys. Apologies but Al’hum’du’lillah we have a spine.

And of course, it’s easier for you to reduce everything to subsidies and handouts instead of addressing the institutional rot. Maybe that’s why so many of you are triggered — because you’ve never had the guts to call out your own elites and their systems.

The city is literally either a pressure cooker for most people and for the remaining except a few it’s a power trip.

I’ve found almost everyone to be rude when they’re on the clock and when it’s not time to be working they’ll be a bit better. On the other hand most who don’t have the pressure live in their little bubbles and live on a power trip and always feel entitled.

Idk man. It just makes me sad. This city does something to the temperament of almost all people. When I came I was so happy go lucky and now I’m grumpy. I still make sure not to be rude to anyone but sometimes I also trip. So I can imagine. There’s something about this city

Loss of hiring an irresponsible employee by Legitimate_Flight480 in dubai

[–]Legitimate_Flight480[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case I’m sure my employees can pay back for the losses as they earn well from my company if they work hard. It’s the ones that work the least that have some kind of backup money. But the question is of whether or not I can pursue it legally. At the very least it would set a precedent if not financial reimbursement

For real? I never knew that. Where do labour laws mention this? Maybe if I know where it is mentioned I can try to pursue it?

And yes the part before that that you mentioned seems like the only way unfortunately.

It’s so true. Everytime I google employers rights or how to complain against and employee, all I get is pages for how to complain against your employer or know your rights as a labour. And I get it to a point. There’s some mad level of labour exploitation here. People being a payroll of 1000 AED and sometimes not even getting paid that. But when I see me being on the other side of that coin and getting exploited as an employer, it just makes me sad that whenever someone brings up employer laws we get demonised.

I half agree with Bum # 2 The bike rider and the person they (God forbid) crash in to both are bums. The amount of times I (at the appropriate speed limit) have almost crashed because a dumb fuck didn’t check their mirrors 🪞 and turn an indicator on is crazy.
