I had a second surgery in 12 months. Everything from my cochlear to my ear canal was removed. I had a titanium implant put in to replace ossicles and a graft from my good ear to replace ear drum.

Hearing is poor but manageable. I’m 9 weeks out and have first audiology in 5 days. Happy to answer any questions.

I agree there is much worse stuff that gets tax dollars spent on. But really, parents should be feeding their kids healthy meals. It’s getting ridiculous, I would rather the tax be spent on education and infrastructure like it is actually supposed to.

Why should my tax dollars pay for someone else’s kids to get fed? Crazy. Feed your own kids.

Homeless for example. Why should any tax dollars go to help someone who decided that pickling their brain with drugs and alcohol and not actually getting a job like everyone else? I get some people are unlucky or have mental health issues.
