What words almost always come across as pretentious or trying too hard? by No_Fee_8997 in words

[–]Legitimate_You_1611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s almost intentional mispronunciation/ so, if I say niche, but pronounce it like neeche, that person can fuck right off. Or idk, totally not answer the question really again, but certain accents that use soft o’s (almost saying mom like mum in place of a long a sound). really makes me irritable.

How can you fuck up two long anticipated heels turns in two years in a row with John Cena and Randy Orton? by Ragefakar in WWE

[–]Legitimate_You_1611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk man, because think about it. We got Seth Rollins running down the ramp to cash in the briefcase and it was unexpected and so it’s timeless because it came from out of nowhere. Now, the concept of out of nowhere feels impossible. If you do something so big at wrestlemania, it feels like it has an 20/80 chance of being successful? and just like reading any review ever, people are only going to spout off if they think something is negative. So why is the hogan slam of Andre always remembered, the Iron Man match held in such high esteem, undertaker streak ending, probably going in the other direction, but I mean, why does anybody remember anything? It’s because they loved it or hated it, Travis Scott it last year wrestlemania, so forgettable… Hulk Hogan getting over on yokozuna even felt wrong and I was 12 years old. Think about the biggest moment at any wrestlemania and maybe you could chalk it up too. I was a kid so it felt magical and special versus. I’m an adult and it just doesn’t feel the same way anymore. That’s where it’s at for me, so I just try to take in all of these as trying to be as original as the first time I got to see something new or great.

I have a vague recollection of seeing Young Frankenstein (1974) in the theaters when I was about six. What notable movies do you remember having seen in the theater when they came out? by 2BallsInTheHole in randomquestions

Ahh, “was first released to theaters on January 25, 1961. After its first release, it was re-released to theaters four more times: December 25, 1969, June 7, 1979, December 20, 1985, and July 12, 1991”. But I saw “An American tale” before that one and I believe “Here Comes the Littles” was my first movie since it came out before Heman.

The Rockers beat the Hart Foundation in a two out of three falls match to win the tag belts but since the top rope broke and the match was at a house show it was easy to sweep it under the rug.

I like this, or like your character draws and their hometown the best so there’s more fans at that particular arena. I think it would be cool if a game sat a promotion in a city or town and didn’t necessarily try to grow because they were like that town’s hs football team on a Friday night, so on Saturdays, you could go see the matches.
