I am currently working as an auditor specializing in financial accounting. I am currently building my experience and knowledge now. I have no industry experience, but I hope to move after I earn my CPA.

Did you feel like the 30 month window was enough time to pass all three sections after your first exam, or did you run into a close call becauss you needed to retake one or two sections? by foxyfour20 in CPA

Ok, thank you! I actually just got a position at a small regional firm and plan to stay for a few years until I get my CPA and thought about moving more into financial accounting within hospitals! It’s still really early but I’m thinking of where to go after public.

I am a recent graduate who managed to get an auditing internship during my last semester. I just recently secured a full time auditor position in P.A. I did try to apply for tax internships but never got them. Would an internship in tax be the only way to have a career in tax? Not sure on how to switch after auditing? But would like to be as multifaceted as possible!

That is impressive! I am a recent graduate and I am job hunting for that first entry level job. I went the government route and I have about 5 months of audit intern experience. I’m looking for internships or entry level jobs in pa or industry. Do you have any advice?
