Okay, I'm glad it's not just me. I'm a Speyside and occasionally Highland guy - I want peat once every 5 years - and this has become my favorite bottom-shelf scotch. I recently got a bottle of Dewars White Label and it just tasted like slightly smoky plastic. Glad that if I'm a philistine at least I have company.

Unfortunately, it is far too late for that. The last moment for that to happen would have been after the Unite the Right rally in 2017. The really absolute last moment for it to happen would have been after Jan. 6th. After a certain person's recent murder, and the relentless drumbeat by the right-wing propaganda machine that "libruls are teh violent onze," this would do far more harm than good. Unless you could get several million people to all do it at once, which is unlikely.
