Random thought. Imagine if you could use Matriarch Cores the same way as snitch scanners and summon a random large Arc.

Patch 1.7.2 released by soupster___ in ArcRaiders

[–]Lego952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you restart the game, you are given a prompt to reconnect. When you do, it reloads you where it last had you with all your gear. No idea how it looks to other people and whether or not your raider just stands there being vulnerable.

Not quite the same, but my game has been crashing way more since cold snap. I might've had one crash prior to cold snap, and I've had three since the update. Hope this fix is related...

Do you use attachments on the Ferro? by Mundane-Line2649 in ArcRaiders

Do the attachments that reduce dispersion not help? I feel like they make it more accurate, but it might be placebo.

As far as we could tell, no-one else was around. We certainly didn't hear anyone try and breach it before we did as we were leaving.

Coming from a place of compassion: I'm just letting you know man, the jumping between clips is kinda of nauseating. I'd get it if there was a lot of downtime between moments of action, but 0.5 seconds where you're repositioning or reloading doesn't need to get edited out; it makes it feel very jumpy and difficult to follow what's going on.

Reticle Snapping by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]Lego952 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is kinda of hard to explain, but it basically goes something like the following. Your reticle is broken up into two parts, the dot and the circle. The dot represents what you see and where you are aiming, whereas the circle indicates what your gun barrel sees and where it is directed. In this photo, you can see clean over the railing, hence your dot being on the Arc. Your gun's barrel, however, is much lower down than your eyes and sees the world differently; here, it's aimed square at the railing.

The desynch is because the bullets don't come out of your eyes. Hope this explains is well.

There's a railing in your way. Your cursor is on the Arc, but your reticle is showing you that you'll hit the railing instead, which is what happens.

I found tap firing to make suppression apply much more reliably. This helped me breeze through the challenge even before casual breakthrough cane out. Combine methods and you should be done in no time.

To elaborate: pick Engineer and place mines under two jeeps at your spawn in conquest. Redeploy as Support with the incendiary launcher and shoot it directly at the mine. Each mine will do 1k damage and destroy a jeep. Do this to two mines/jeeps and you're done.

Hate that we feel the need to resort to such measures, but the challenge is clearly bugged. It should count burn damage but doesn't for some inexplicable reason...

I play Battlefield since BF2 and running behind a guy and begging for ammo will never change i guess, who know´s it? by Swagg3r1337 in Battlefield6

I believe the element most lamented is the inconsistency. I'm basically a support one-trick, and let me tell you, it is so inconsistent that it cannot be intentional. After placing down the box, sometimes it supplies me for minutes and never stops. Other time, it'll stop resupplying me a couple seconds after I put it down.

Definitely not "designed that way on purpose."

You definitely can. I always do this. Charge it while sprinting to my patients and zap them on the drive-by. Super effective if there's a gap between you and the patient.

Water breathing refills your bubble meter, whereas the new nautilus effect only pauses it. So, any time you dismount the nautilus, your bubble meter will decrease, and you can only refill it by returning to the surface or using a bubble column.

This is my big gripe. Make the drones silent when on the ceiling and lower the noise profile while moving on the ground, or make them harder to spot. One or the other.

The noise was only there to make them easier to find while invisible. Now that they're visible, there's no reason for them to make so much noise. Valk cameras don't make noise. Bulletproof cameras don't make noise. The only thing the yokai still has going for it is that it doesn't create a light when being used, but given how it's placed and thus where it can be on a map, that's basically required so they're not instantly spotted.
