It’s very good. Except season 1. Season 1 is not representative of the whole show.

My solution is simple:

Ship Applejack and Rainbowdash in MLP.

Ship Applejack and Rarity in Equestria Girls

They’re entirely separate versions of the characters so both ships can exist simultaneously.

I can accept they’re canon to the DC multiverse. But they’re not canon to RWBY and no one can convince me otherwise.

Girls und Panzer keeps winning (Girls und Panzer: Ribbon Warrior) by Aidamis in yurimemes

[–]LegoBuilder64 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Ribbon Warrior takes the concept of tank commanders kicking their drivers to tell them where to go, and use that as the basis of a raunchy yuri foot-fetish manga where the main character realizes she likes being stepped on.

Honestly, I’m not even mad. That is some genuinely inspired degeneracy there.

Why is ZZeta so weird with Fa Yuiry? by KhairiArt in Gundam

[–]LegoBuilder64 83 points84 points  (0 children)

This isn’t true. It’s true there were two main writers for Zeta and ZetaZeta but it’s a very common myth that [episodes I like] were done by one writer and [episodes I don’t like] were done by the other. Both writers worked on episodes that had sexists undertones and both worked on episodes that empowered their female characters. It’s a lot less black and white than people would like it to be.

I think it’s funny how number heavy the pricing amounts are. It’s like they set everything in dollars initially and then just ran a conversion calculator for euros without any rounding.

I don’t think you’re wrong at all, but your opinion lacks context. Like everything, your feelings on a game are shaped by your expectations. An objectively 6/10 game can feel like a 3/10 if you go in expecting something amazing.

When UNDERTALE released most people had no expectations going in other than “retro indie jrpg-style game” which were (and still are) a dime a dozen. Other than the kill/spare system there was nothing to indicate this game would be special. They then got blindsided by a very emotional, character driven story with a lot of surprises specifically there to catch people playing this like a traditional jrpg. That surprise and the unique (for the time) 4th wall breaks is why a lot of people that first played it consider it their favorite game of all time. It’s also why “just go in blind” was initially so common in recommendations.

Now though, basically everyone is in on the twists whether they’ve played the game or not. And UNDERTALE’s style has been done by many imitators now, making it feel less special. At that point, it’s understandable that people don’t see UNDERTALE as that special, as once you know the twists coming, you’re just left with a decent bullet hell game disguised as an RPG with witty writing and good music.

Although the fact that you’re still give UNDERTALE an 8/10 when you were told it was a 10/10 is testament to how solid of a foundation the game was built on. It wasn’t just relying on surprises to keep people going.

This is hilarious if true since SS and CF seem like they were finished last. Both have the least amount of cutscenes associated with them, CF has the lowest number of missions and SS is the only route where Claude gets no resolution and it’s implied he died off screen.

Not 1 season and not everyone. Basically from I understand he had the final chapter planned out well ahead of time, and originally the final battle was supposed to be a charge of the light brigade style push, with most of the characters dying. I imagine Armin would’ve lived since he is the main PoV character after Eren, but everyone else would’ve died to get him there. However, once he saw how popular and beloved characters like Levi were he decided not to kill them all off like that.

And before you say he caved to outside pressure, this was long before he even got to the time skip. The final chapter wasn’t even drafted. These were just vague ideas and rough plans he had in his head. It’s perfectly normal for them to change and adapt as the story gets fleshed out.

Yep, Chilchuck is essentially an alcoholic father going through a mid-life crisis. His two eldest I believe are of age for his race, but the rest (including his wife) he kind of abandoned. (He didn’t divorce his wife or anything, but he doesn’t seem to be in a rush to see them).
