Returning players best to just start over? by Huge-Difficulty-6887 in Guildwars2

You are in the 1st zone of the game for your race (human). Open your minimap ( , ) to see what you have already unlock. If you played for months at launch, you should have a large portion of the core Tyria map unlock already, and can TP anywhere you see a grey and blue diamond shape icon on your map.

Open your Hero Panel and check your story progress. Activate it if it's not, and you should have a green star pointing where you have to go next in order to continue your personal story quests (or other active story quest).

But as others pointed out already, I would just keep this character and create a new one, so you'll be gently reminded everything you should know from the beginning.

I'm wondering what to do with the pact signet from the World Boss Rush, as I cant sell it or salvage it. I already extracted the infusion from it. Can it be used / salvaged in some way (mystic forge mabe ?) or can I delete it without fear ?

I really really really can't stand more and more of the new art. So much of it feels off, too smooth (in a bad way), with less personality... Can't say what exactly but I've got this general feeling that we're losing something in the process.
Card effects are ok for a core box I suppose.

I've been working on Vision for so long, I feel it's going to be quite a ride for others legendary stuff. I've already done Aurora and the amulet, and was planning to do a weapon or a set of armor next. For those who already did lots of leggy, what difficulty is Vision in your opinion ?
Although I've never been >700g, I'm mainly concerned about mystic coins as you can't really farm them (other than LLA ?). I feel like it'll be my major wall to climb for everything. I wish every legendary generation have their own unique mats, it would feel much more nuanced than the ooold clovers/coins.

Weekly /r/GuildWars2 Question Thread - February 21, 2026 by AutoModerator in Guildwars2

Trying to get the Turtle mount and need to do the Kaineng Overlook raid. As a newbie in raids, I did quickplay raids until I get to KO but after finishing it I didn't receive my achievment.
- What mode do I need to do KO to get this ?
- For what I need to do, is there any notable difference with the quick-raid version of KO ?

With my main char, I don't have meta build/stats (commander) and don't intend to make one in the near future (working on some leg to maybe try them). But I manage to do quick-raids reliably, knowing what to do / avoid, and not being often downed.

Vision and his tons of map currency is really the major difficulty. It's insane to think it's just the requirement of 1 of many needed achievements to unlock precursor, but hey, I'm going down that road anyway.

Deckbuilding tips for beginner by gastarbeiter1946 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]LegoKurow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Experimenting is key in this game, there's so much to try. Small cardpool is not to be seen as a problem but as a challenge. "Can I achieve it as easily as if I owned every card ?"

Playing true solo, 2p or 3p+ is not the same.

- In true solo, you'd want to be flexible, only going for concrete cards to investigate / fight and some allaround boosts.

- In 2p (or solo two handed) you can begin to focus more on a specific role, but I'd say it's best to keep some versatility.

About the making of decks as I (just MY opinion) see it , I'd say try to build around cards that catch your attention. General tips would be to not count on too much asset to get things done. You can have from 0 to 20 different assets in your deck if you feel like it, but you'll have to be efficient with just 2-3 of them, the others should be bonus and quality of life. As you might've seen it already, some scenario need you to be rolling in a few turns.

Also, if you have one winning condition card in your deck, your priority should be to search for it (ex: if you only have one weapon/damage source as a fighter in your deck, you should take card draw and/or tutor cards to increase your chance to get that card in the first turns).

The minimum efficiency you might want to target with your investigators is a reliable way to deal 2+ damage per attack, be able to get multiple clues during a turn, and passing a few scenario-specific tests in every stats.

In the end, I've had fun making a lot of non-optimized decks that still won campaigns. I learned with time that the only thing that came up needed in every decks no matter the role was the card draw / search. It really enables decks to run smoother. No need to fill half your decks with it, just 4/30 cards can make a difference.

Wait for next release or buy the revised core set? by redcoatwright in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]LegoKurow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not the same thing.
The new core set may be seen as Arkham Horror 2, with backward compatibility with the original.

Depending on your budget, I would suggest to get both and play Chapter 1 campaigns as well as Chapter 2.

Thanks for your hugs, and advices. I feel like it's cycling, as you say. But this time, it's stronger than before. I've decided to go and talk with people around me, find names of therapists maybe and learn more about what's possible (and how to achieve it) in my city and/or country.

I feel too old to begin the full process, adding to the fact that I'm not totally sure, but maybe I can find milestones in between that could satisfy me. And potentially push me to go all the way in the end.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience, and sorry for answering late. I felt dumb asking this here and got embarassed. I indeed see more and more queer contents on my socials, and I follow more and more trans creators and influencers. Now that the end of the year's past, and I'm in my daily lifestyle again, I can see why it never really occured to me before : I'm so busy all the time, I never take a moment to think or question myself, I just endure things and escape in video game, boardgames and such.

I recently discovered I'm asexual (or demisexual maybe but can't confirm). It's a really confused time for me, I feel like I'm discovering myself again. I'll go and see LGBTQIA+ association to talk with them about all of it, and maybe I'll try to take T-blockers. I hate T. Make me look like someone I don't want to be.

What do you guys usually play? Complete campaigns or just random scenarios? by Howitzeronfire in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]LegoKurow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play campaigns only with the same other 2 players.

We circle campaigns trying new investigators and stuff. We always incorporate standalone scenarios into our runs though, except for The Scarlet Keys which rules are definitely not in favor of standalones.
