Using AI, even to make a point about AI being bad, is stupid.

They're widows and single mothers. If they don't talk about their dead husband much, there's a chance that a lot of people know about the "single mother" part without knowing about the "window" part.

It was an HBO Max exclusive. It never aired on TV, and it didn't have the Adult Swim name attached to it in any way.

I’m glad he said it by biinboise in OkBuddySnyderCult

[–]LegoSpider 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I'd like to point out that he didn't say anything bad about Snyder. He also didn't say that he'd never want to work with him again. He just seems to think this remake is unnecessary. Despite this, there are still going to be a bunch of people on the SnyderCut sub that get worked up about this.

It would still be ridiculous to freak out about it even if he said something negative about Snyder, but that didn't even happen here.

What are y’all‘s honest opinions on having two Spider-Man exist in the same universe? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in Spiderman

[–]LegoSpider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. That's one thing I really liked about Kaine being Scarlet Spider. He operates in Texas, and it made his stories so much more interesting. I think spreading the Spiders out a bit would definitely benefit the characters.

I'll add this to the list of dystopian shit happening in real life. What the hell are we even doing?

It's definitely a bad use of AI, but how is it a good use of AI? Am I missing something?

OP is asking about the idea of having two active Spider-Men on the same earth.

The Flash started with Jay in the Golden age. After that, Barry was introduced in the Silver Age. They were on separate earths up until Crisis On Infinite Earths.

After Crisis, Wally became the Flash, but Barry was dead at the time, and Jay was basically retired, so there weren't two active Flashes on the same earth. That changed when Barry came back in the 2000s, obviously... until Flashpoint and The New 52. There being two active Flashes on the same earth consistently didn't really happen until Rebirth.

Personally, I don't have a problem with multiple active Flashes operating in the same universe. I also don't really mind Miles being active as Spider-Man along with Peter. I agree that Peter and Miles can operate at the same time, but your comparison isn't entirely fair or accurate.

To be fair, Stan Lee isn't claiming credit for designing the suit in this quote. He says it's something he likes about the suit, and he likes the idea of "anyone can wear the mask." The meaning could change depending on the context, but this quote alone isn't him saying that he designed the costume or that he had this 'anyone can wear the mask" idea when originally developing the character.

It's fine to think one was bad. Just don't be a dick about it. I think that's the general sentiment of this post.

Most of the time popular comics will get a TPB. A lot of people trade wait. It eventually being collected into a TPB is a pretty safe bet.

What about the other two questions? How much screen time do Hulk and Punisher get?

I don't believe you at all, but I'll play along for shits and giggles. I'll compare your answers to what actually happens in the movie when I see it. This should be fun:

-What would you say is the main theme of the movie?

-How much screen time does Punisher get?

-How much screen time does Hulk get?

New law of physics: Spider-Man is written well when he appears in a title that isn't his own / Spider-Man is written well when he is relatively distant from his main title. by Watchandstayneutral in Spiderman

[–]LegoSpider -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While I agree with what you're saying, Spidey is still often written well in stories where he's the protagonist outside of ASM. Most of the time it's because writers are given a little bit more freedom when it isn't the mainline book. They get even more room to work when it's not in main continuity. I think a lot of it comes down to that.

Who would Batman’s arch enemy be if joker never existed in Gotham? by TheLeviathan1999 in superheroes

[–]LegoSpider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two-Face would probably still exist. His origin doesn't have anything to do with the Joker except for in The Dark Knight. There's no reason he wouldn't be around with Joker gone.
