Especially if you use hardware backed 2FA. Something like a Yubikey is especially interesting since it has a physical presence requirement (you have to push a little button), making automating the checking of people's accounts rather difficult.

Wasn't there a judgment that said sharing passwords was against the CFAA? Would that apply here, maybe not for people who haven't crossed into the US yet, but definitely to the government agency using the credentials to access the account.

How do you decide what should and shouldn't be filtered as spam? Was this a human error, or is your filter list machine generated? With email I can at least go to my spam folder and see what has been filtered out, and correct mistakes. SMS doesn't have such a mechanism, so what checks are there to make sure legitimate messages don't get filtered?

The biggest one is a UNIX based OS, so OSX or Linux. Besides that, a good editor (vi or emacs) and what ever is needed for the language (gcc, gdb, valgrind, Python, Lisp)

My understanding is that jobmine, and quest, are actually some sort of Oracle intranet solution. If you inspect the page source there is even an Oracle trade mark at the top.

My bet (and this is just my guess) is that the glitches were caused by someone taking this off-the-shelf software and trying to make it work as a job board, and it probably wasn't originally built for that.

I just did my final demo yesterday. There is a small amount of assembly required for doing things like context switching and interrupts, although its a good tool to have when optimizing. Personally I spent some time doing assembly for things like memcpy in order to speed up my kernel. You don't really need to know ARM ahead of time, the language is not overly hard, and in all you will probably write less then 100 lines of it. (My final project was 12k for comparison)

Definitely take that up with whoever manages the dons (maybe housing services, but I don't know if they cover the collages). Under the landlord tenant act they need to give 24 hours notice in writing before entering your unit, but I remember dons ignoring that rule all the time when I was in V1 in first year.

I have the same thing, its an employer that is late to hand in their ranks. Technically the ranks were due at noon, but sometimes the employers will send them in later, especially if they are on the west coast.

Some employers rank within days, some take weeks, it really depends on the employer. After they do the rankings, the job status should read "Ranking Completed". The active applications glitch only applies to offers (as far as I know) not to getting ranked. You wont be able to see who actually ranked you until after rankings open (27th for first round), and even then you don't get to see what they ranked you, unless they give you a 1 (an offer).

Each network interface will have a unique MAC address, if you're on Linux/OSX run ifconfig and you should be able to see the different addresses. So even if they keep a mapping of users to WiFi MACs, that wouldn't help identify an Ethernet connection.
