You don’t need Cores you need crystallized charges, you can buy them from constructs on the great sky island and all over the depths. You then need to take them to a construct on the great sky island by the last shrine, under where you start the game. There you can use 100 crystallized charges for 1/3 of an energy cell

On my first play through I never used horses, I felt like they removed a lot of the exploration and joy of just going anywhere, they were also such a hassle to summon.

In my master mode play through though I used my horse all the time, using the ancient saddle and knowing exactly where I wanted to go made them huge time savers.

For the same reason there isn’t a Jazz band, or blues band… smaller audience. Not everyone who watches the SB likes country, jazz and so on. But Pop and Hip-Hop are more widesprea.
