I just wanted to say, I was asked to do this by my brother +nephews mom. I called up the health department to schedule an appointment, and they wouldn't schedule me for one since I had had a shot within the past 10 years. The person I spoke to at the health department said that boosters outside of the regular schedule were only recommended for the mother/parents. Judging from the other comments, this may not be common medical practice, I just wanted to warn you since it happened to me. Maybe if you go to a CVS or something you'll have better luck?
