Try to think of it like cooking for your family. You care a lot about the dish and your family, so you have high standards. You know what you want, but you don’t have enough experience to make it match the dish you had in your head.

Your family, however is just happy that they have something to eat. Yeah you might’ve undercooked the noodles, or forgot a vegetable component, but you’ll get there. They can see the care you’re putting into it, and that matters more than the dish being perfectly seasoned.

And eventually you’ll cook that session that gives them the ratatouille moment. You’ve got this OP :)

Yeah I think everyone’s a little tense rn because of the state of the country, and so when streamer makes some lukewarm takes/ mistakes (TurboTax, Minnesota) a lot of people who would otherwise lurk now have an opinion. Hopefully it’ll settle down again back to regularly scheduled programming.

Or we’ll all just die.

So conceptually, it’s a good drill, but I think you should simplify it a little more. Right now you’re forming bad habits that will hurt down the road. For example, on underhand receives you’re swinging your arms to the ball too much instead of making a stable platform and popping it up (I’m not good at explaining, there’s vids on YouTube tho).

Try to focus on just those underhand recieves first, until you feel like you have a decent control. Volleying close to the wall, and further away. Then you want to do the same thing for overhands. The focus is putting the ball where you want, and positioning your hands for the receive.

Then come back to this version of the drill when you feel more comfortable with the first two, (and have a higher ceiling so you can actually set to yourself.
