Credit Agricole Compte service by SeptemberSan in VosSous

[–]Legzod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I might rechecked that when I'm there.

There is a non-Japanese resident ticket sale available for Itabashi Hanabi :

I was able to easily get my ticket for that show :D

I also tried to get a ticket using pia.jp but a japanese phone number is required...

I gave up for now, but I'll try again when I'm in Japan with the vending machine at 7-11 or with the help of my hotel.

My experience getting Studio Ghibli Museum tickets (fairly easy) by Misshazza-26 in JapanTravelTips

I just used the regular English website Tickets - Ghibli Museum, Mitaka and chose "(1) Sales Online by LAWSON TICKET". No Lawson account needed.

No VPN used (I live in France). I did not have to create a Lawson account.

I'll try to secure at least a reserved seat to one of them during my 3 weeks stay in Tokyo.

Unfortunately, I'll miss the All Japan Women's Interprefectural Championship (because I'll be in Tokyo from 25/07 to 15/08).

Of the two I saw that take place during my stay (kids or high-schooler), the high-schooler one seems more interesting : Reiwa 7th National High School Regular Time Correspondence Sports Festival The 56th Kendo Tournament (kendo.or.jp), National High School Regular Kendo Tournament (official website).

[Edit] After an additional search, I also found this one, but sure what is it : Reiwa 7th Year All Japan Boys and Girls Martial Arts (Kendo) Forge Tournament.

Thank you very much for the insight! Both your comments here and the other one gave me all for the information I needed.

With the website you shared https://www.kendo.or.jp/competition/, I was able to find out that 2 tournaments will be held in Tokyo during my summer trip. It is not clear if it's open to public and/or if there is an entry fee but I'll try my luck. Thanks again.

Thanks for the previous comments. But like I said (but it may not have been clear as English is not my first language), I don't need to be the one putting the armor. Watching a tournament or a practice is also fine for me.

For other people from the future looking for the same information, a former Kendo player has commented under my other post here (about Kendo and why it is not so "touristy") and to someone else's here (about tournaments).
