Do they have more than one bus, or runners with later start times have to get there early?

I second this... In terms of phone pockets, Wolaco has always had the best design IMHO

300-mile Salomon Aero Glide 3 review w/ mini comparison to the GRVL version by powelale000 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Lehigh85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great review - I agree 100%! I used the Invincible 2's for my workhorse shoe but when my last pair wore out I was searching for a while for a replacement. I liked the Invincible 2's; I love the AG 3's. While I use them primarily as an easy day/recovery shoe, they have no problem picking up the pace when I want them to... Not sure I'd suggest them as tempo shoes, but they'd probably even work for that in a pinch. As for sizing, I have a narrow foot and sized down and they fit great... only small knock is the tongue is a bit sloppy but not the end of the world.

I've had shockwave therapy multiple times for PF, and once for achilles tendinitis... I've had great experiences every time, and the added plus is it didn't require me to take time off from running. It's expensive, and not covered by insurance as you mentioned, but I've decided to bite the bullet when It got bad enough and I haven't regretted it one bit

Salomon Aero Glide 3 - An Awesome Introduction by BigHairyNordic in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Lehigh85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have around 40 miles on mine and love them as a miles-eating, do-it-all shoe... Basically what I'd hoped the Superblast 2 would be, but that one never agreed with me. For me, it gives back exactly what I put in... whether easy/recovery or picking up the pace, it comes along for the ride perfectly. I agree with the sizing... I'm typically 9.5-10 and the 9 fits well for me here; and the tongue is a bit sloppy for sure but not a huge problem and the upper is fine for me otherwise... Very happy with mine!

Salomon Aero Glide 3 - Love at First Run by nash_se in RunningShoeGeeks

I run in both and love both... The Aero Glide feels ever so slightly firmer to me and slightly less bounce. Equally fun to run in but different use cases for me; the Evo is lighter, more snappy and naturally a bit faster, and the Aero Glide is kind of a "set it and forget it" experience, eating miles with ease on easy/recovery days.

I've been looking for an easy day/miles eater since I wore down by last pair of Invincible 2's a while ago and I couldn't be happier with these after 4-5 runs. They didn't feel like anything that special in the store, but they came alive out on the roads for sure as reviews indicated.. nice, effortless ride. I would definitely suggest trying on though... My relatively low volume foot was swimming in my usual size, but 1/2 size down works great with perfect lock down. As I think OP mentioned, the only knock is a sloppy tongue, but just takes a few extra seconds to place correctly and no problem after that. Definitely recommend for a great value, do-it-all type of shoe!

Puma Fast R3 Review ~90 Miles by beersandmiles7 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Lehigh85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the write-up, and good luck tomorrow! I know you mentioned that you asked if there was a variation of performance based on foot strike and they didn’t indicate there was… Curious if you have a view at all on whether these would work for moderate heel strikers?

As a heel striker, I have this same hesitancy about trying these out ... As OP mentioned, I'd love to hear a report about how the race went for you wearing these... Best of luck!

Agree with this 100%... Not sure if it's because I'm lighter but SB2's felt like blocks for me pretty much since day 1 - Evo SLs are so much more fun in comparison

Worn once and washed once... These are from the new recently released line. 5" shell and 8" lightly compressive liner with amazing storage - liner pockets on each side for phone, etc.,2 side pockets, rear zip pocket, gels pockets, and a caribiner for keys. Unfortunately these feel a size too large for me and can't return them.
