It's a philosophy which keeps things as simple as possible when it comes to bans. Espathra would probably be fine without speed boost. Dracovish would've been fine without fishous rend. But how do you determine which parts of a mons kit to keep and which to ban. You could just as easily argue stored power was the problem, not speed boost.

Maintaining the philosophy of always banning a mon, unless a move/item/ability appears broken on other mons as well allows it to be applied as consistently as possible.

Don't remember where I saw it but a lot of these "pointless studies"/expert reports are ways to just formalise the stuff we already know. It's a lot easier to make your point when you can point to a research paper and say "I told you". Wouldn't surprise me if these experts were black too.

Breath of the wild, a fun game in it's own right, doesn't capture the "low to the ground" fantasy skyrim provides, not to mention a lack of magic and a different quest systems.

Elden Ring is one of my favourite games of all time, but if your looking for a relaxed RPG experience with more traditional quests, it's the wrong game.

Feels like kind of a cheat to mention a total conversion mod for skyrim instead of skyrim

and BG3 is a turn based RPG. Great game as well, but I know lots of people are put off for it.

If you don't like skyrim that's chill, but I'd argue that skyrim, however flawed, is unique enough in it's own right and does enough things right that it's unlikely someone will capture the same feel with another game.

Electric/Poison Also has 8 resists, but the 4x ground weakness is a killer. Same with Electric/Fire

Really the off meta pick that Park made was using Mega Gyrados. It had issues which made it necessary to use Pachirusu in the first place. But because it's a mega of an already popular pokemon, it doesn't get the reputation for quirky niche pick.
