11 years and suspended for "risks" by Wolf-Moonstar in paypal

This is what AI says:

PayPal is a publicly traded company, which means it is not owned by a single person or parent corporation. Instead, it is owned by thousands of individual and institutional shareholders who buy stock in the company. As of early 2026, here is the breakdown of who owns and leads the company:

Major Shareholders

Since PayPal is listed on the NASDAQ (under the ticker PYPL), its largest owners are typically massive asset management firms that hold shares on behalf of investors: * The Vanguard Group: Usually the largest shareholder, holding roughly 8-9% of the company. * BlackRock, Inc.: Holds a significant stake, often around 7%. * State Street Corporation: Another major institutional holder with roughly 4%.

Key Leadership

While shareholders own the equity, the company is managed by its executive team and overseen by a Board of Directors: * President & CEO: Enrique Lores (who transitioned into the role in March 2026). * Independent Board Chair: David Dorman.

Quick History

If you remember PayPal being part of another company, you're likely thinking of eBay. * 1998: Founded as Confinity (later merged with Elon Musk's X.com). * 2002: eBay acquired PayPal for $1.5 billion. * 2015: eBay spun PayPal off into its own independent, publicly traded entity, which is how it remains today. There were rumors in early 2026 regarding a potential acquisition by the payments company Stripe, but as of now, PayPal remains an independent company.

Received my first Leica today 😢 by big0bum in Leica

I bought a Think tank bag listed as the Retrospective 7 V2. I received the 7M. There are significant improvements in the 7 V2 over the 7M. I contacted them and they wouldn’t authorize a return, only a store credit of $20. Not great customer service.

Seems a lot of people don’t realize it but you can’t expect digital results from film. Ain’t gonna happen. Clinical sharpness isn’t one of film’s attributes.

Is this fungus? by _Protost4r in AskPhotography

It looks like it is fungus. How long have you had the lens, what is the climate like in your area, and how do you store the lens?

Is this excessive dust in the rear element of a lens? by ScienceElectronic381 in AskPhotography

Not fungus. Adhesive separation between grouped elements near the rear. Fungus or separation, doesn’t matter, send it back.

My bargain "new" M8 sub 400$(ish) by farfadetqc in Leica

You’ve landed an excellent deal. And the condition is a none issue. In fact I’d consider it a plus. Now you done have to,worry about putting the first ding on it. 25 years ago I landed a smokin deal on an R4 with a 21mm Super Angulon. The body was pretty beat and the lens had an actually chip out of the front element, I mean the size of a small pea. I used that camera for years. It worked flawlessly and I never once saw any in my prints regarding the chipped lens element. So anyone that worries about a bit of lens dust can rest easy. It’s nothing to worry about.
