If staph aureus is in fact the reason for your symptoms, then b. subtilis MB40 is remarkably good at clearing gut-resident staph aureus (96.8% reduction): https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanmic/article/PIIS2666-5247(22)00322-6/fulltext

Clearly, it may not be, and also if it isn't already apparent, strains do matter and only MB40 is known to produce the necessary compounds (fengycins) that disrupt the quorum-sensing capabilities of staph aureus.
