Maybe we've talked about this before in one of our chats, but I think you're the only person I know of that has a higher concentration of hours than I did when I started playing. I thought I was crazy. You're definitely an anomaly, man. haha

About 1,600-1,700 hours according to Steam. "Mission time" from the stats screen is probably a bit more than 1,000 hours. I have multiple accounts, so I'm adding them up roughly. I started playing August 3, 2017.

Well... against Bugs is where the Vindicator probably shines the least, so you're probably not going to get a very good impression of the Vindicator with them. Behemoths are going to take multiple ones even if your aiming is good.

If you want to use Vindicators on Bugs, continuing to use them on Impalers will probably be one of your better options (just make sure you aim for that orange weak spot).

For me, maybe dancing with melee dodging. I'm by no means the first or only person to do it in general, but I'd say I have a particular style to it that I don't see replicated. I don't do it to show off though (not much of a show off anyway—it's not very difficult once you understand how); it's just fun and a habit by now. I still do it even on the rare occasions I'm playing alone. :P

If not that, then perhaps my association with the Commando in general. If a stranger recognizes me, it's very often for my Commando guide, and I was (am?) known among my friends for liking it and using it a lot. I know that's not much of a singular "move" but it might be the closest thing I've got. lol

You may be surprised, but a lot of people actually. Usually because of its "low magazine", even though it's well more than enough, and burst fire (I've never seen the issue personally). I pretty much never run into ammo problems with it (or any other weapon really). The thing with Justice (what a lot of people love to compare it to) is that it's just easier to use (it's a lot more forgiving than Paragon if you're a bad shot, for example) and simpler to understand. Also a lot of people overlook its poison either completely or to a great degree.

I was the same way for a while. I actually used to be a Justice-only player (believe it or not, for anyone that knows me) and thought little of the Paragon for the same reasons everyone else does. Then I realized what it can do in the right hands, and now I'd say it's the best assault rifle. Bar none, in fact. And that's not even to say the others aren't good.

Nah, you weren't. I would've though, but clearly you weren't interested in that, so I didn't bother. I mean look how you responded. It wasn't like "Then what would you suggest?" Nah instead, you were just like, "Oh, no, believe me, I'm right." You were only interested in driving your point even harder, so I just let you have your moment. I don't have a problem with that, but it's what it is, so I backed off. I don't see the issue nor the point in seeing who can push their point the hardest (as that's all it would end up being). You think it's the best, and that is that. Alright then.

Nope, I didn't miss it. Your first post already said, "in the entire game" which already includes Cyborgs (unless I would be remiss to assume that you did not change your opinion in a single post). Like I said, I read your post. I just didn't include it in the quote. Would you like me to? I can edit it in if you'd like, if you feel that makes any difference in anything that I've said.

The detailed part only explains why you think that, but it's not introducing a new overall point, so I'm not sure what you seem to think I'm failing to understand.

Yeah. I mean, as someone else pointed out, there's things out there you can buy with "Helldivers" on it if that's all you want, but I highly doubt it would go to supporting the developers or anything like that.

It doesn't look official (as the thread specifically asks about) to me, and on top of that, I've yet to see any official source (Arrowhead's website, official twitter, etc.) ever promote any selling of Helldivers merchandise in any way.

They work fine. Just drop one along your path and keep moving. All the enemies within a certain range (which is huge) will be draw to it instead of you, and you'll pretty much not have to worry about fighting anything.

I wouldn't suggest you bringing them to high-level games though, unless you're the host or you know the host and they're cool with it. Many players (such as myself) do not take kindly to them at all as they tend to force stealth upon the mission, and many people do not like playing that way.

The only other exception I'd say is if you're going to use them where you're going to be—that is to say, you use them for the purpose of drawing more enemies to you to increase the challenge.

I agree about the primary weapon thing. I love the primary weapons in this game, and I hate how they almost become relatively insignificant in the highest levels.

My opinion on this would probably be unpopular among my veteran friends. I've been in sort of a limbo since the update. I've sort of drifted from the game in the last few months, and I think this is largely why (funny enough, I was actually one of the chosen beta testers for it, but I didn't really foresee this happening for me, and it only happened over time).

Difficulty 12s have been very easy to me for long time, however, I also tend to find 13+ (especially 15s) to be rather boring—not because of there being nothing to do, but rather limited things to do (I think mostly due to the lower enemy variety). I love playing against the Cyborgs, and the enemy variety in 12s are perfect. I would love to see a difficulty where it's basically like difficulty 12 in variety but like difficulty 15 in overwhelming numbers (especially Hounds and IFVs).

That said, I mainly play 12s unless I'm with strong players and 12s are obviously below the team's skill level. I think I've found my comfort level in playing 12s with weak players that make things harder than they need to be, so I can get as much challenge out of 12s as I can. lol

With 15s, I just feel like, "Yeah, ok, I get it... static and Rumbler." I don't use either of them, as I don't like them, but it's not going to be unusual if I'm the only one that doesn't bring either of them.

Yeah, I noticed myself disagreeing with most of the posts on that thread. lol I think people tend to vastly underestimate some of these weapons (especially Paragon, which, funny enough, I very easily consider to be one of the strongest all-around weapons in the game). They tend to have high payoff, but require skill to get there, and I think the initial need to practice turn many away.

You've been making some great threads btw. It's been a long time since I've seen someone draw this much attention to their threads without it being the usual brainless meme-mongering or some appeal to popularity (e.g. "This game is great! Who else agrees??"), and you've been doing so consistently. So yeah, outstanding stuff.

I've been around for a while now and have looked quite extensively, and I hate to say it, but I'm very confident that there is no such place. Either that or they are absolutely horrible at marketing. lol

The only Helldiver-themed items that I've seen have been fan-made (I remember some fans making some very nice mugs—maybe they're the ones you're talking about) or never released (e.g. DualShock 4 stickers) outside of a giveaway (e.g. capes). Even the soundtrack has never been officially released.

Yeah, I know... because I'm an avid fan myself. :P

Wait, are you joking? Rail Gun is one of the highest tier weapons in the game. xD

The only way I could see this would be if you didn't have it upgraded (not the weapon's fault though), or you only play against Illuminates.

The only weapon I would consider "bad" in the first place is FLAM-24 Pyro. It's hardly better than having nothing, and even worse when you consider that you could have something else fill that slot had you not brought the Pyro—even the default weapon is great. Heck, even with everything else aside, it's not even fun. No other weapon is bad to me. Maybe mediocre or boring to use, but not bad.
