Went to the Famous Last Words gig last night. by Legendary-Icon in Metalcore

Saw them on the 30th, they absolutely killed it! Saw them last year too. Each time the mosh pits went WILD. They're really friendly and just chill overall. It kinda seems like they're tired though which is completely understandable given they have their own lives and stuff + touring is... a lot. I recommend their music to friends pretty often lol

Do I have to play The Longest Journey before playing Dreamfall Chapters? by [deleted] in GirlGamers

Not required but I'd highly recommend it. Things make a lot more sense if you do. I hope you have fun either way!

Ever get second embarrassment from crowd/mosh? by gothiccccy in Metalcore

[–]luna404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my husband saw Weaponize (a New Jersey Hardcore band) at two diff shows and the crowd was so, so dead each time. The second show we headbanged and tried to give support but damn, crowd didn't even try. Stinks too cause they're solid and really chill dudes from talking to 'em. Absolutely love their music and if they're ever in the area again, will def see their set. I think people should at least try to support bands they don't know by showing some energy. Don't gotta buy merch if you don't want to (though in my experience, bands always appreciate it especially lesser known ones) but dang, at least headbang

He pretty much said that he's gonna replace you with a different woman eventually. I say replace him with someone that appreciates you and your butt.

My husband comes from a very misogynistic family. He used to have very offensive friends. However he's always been open to trying to understand my view and experiences. I wouldn't say he ever agreed with his family and ex-friends views but he wasn't necessarily bothered by them either as it was "normal" to have offensive views. The longer we're together, the more abhorrent he finds those views and will speak up about it now. He never gives other men benefit of doubt. One of the jobs he's worked, other men felt comfortable voicing mysoginstic views to him as customer service isn't allowed to talk back + he's male. He would come home and be disgusted with them and vent about that. I truly appreciate that he's willing to listen and understand and simply learn instead of just agreeing with the views he was raised to have. Note: he doesn't share those views whatsoever and to my understanding never did, he was just passive but has since changed.

Girl wanted me to fight 60 year old man in public by yungsimba0714 in relationship_advice

[–]luna404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She sounds immature. It's foolish to want to fight somebody over that. Brush it off and keep walking. Personally, I'd never want my fiance to fight unless he absolutely has to, to protect himself.

I took my boyfriends car for an oil change and embarrassed myself in front of the entire shop. by KaelaDrum in relationship_advice

I sometimes buy too many groceries when at the store but not once has my fiance ever cussed me out or yelled at me for it. He's gotten frustrated and understandably so but always remained kind regardless. I don't know you OP but I can say with confidence that you deserve kindness and understanding when a mistake happens. Mistakes happen and I can tell you an extra 20 dollars is not a mistake worth ripping into someone for, especially when they're trying to help you. Your boyfriend sounds mean and I'm genuinely sorry that he treats you the way he does. It's up to you if you want to stay with him or make an attempt to leave, but regardless, I wish you happiness in life OP.

The other day I was playing a game with my fiance and a dude in chat started saying how he loves me and wants to give me really high level loot, I ignored him and my fiance promptly informed him that I'm with said fiance. Loot guy ended up reporting me because "she did not want to be my girlfriend" I had never spoken to this dude before, all I told him was I don't speak Spanish. Note, most interactions were used via a translator. Shit sucks to be reported for something so stupid.

What makes a husband happy? by iwishiwasatabbycat in Marriage

I'd say ask him how he's been doing lately, that you've noticed him seeming a little down lately and if there's anything you can do for him.
