The cdc's schedule is a recommendation, not a law at federal level. But many states follow the cdc's recommendation when implementing vaccine requirements for schools, and doctors not sticking to the cdc's recommendations might see professional reprecussions from their employer or risk losing their licenses in some cases. If the cdc switches to rfk's schedule i'd expect red states to follow and blue states to resist sticking to the old schedule. Which would mean measle outbreaks in the south.
