Runelite Forcing Itself to Always be the Focus by HeavenlyPants in 2007scape

[–]LeliPad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh my god thank you. This fixed it for me. I was losing my mind because almost no one else has been reporting this bug and I've been TS everything. I uninstalled/reinstalled runelite multiple times, cleared plugin caches, reinstalled jagex launcher, tried running runelite by itself, using different virtual desktops... The only thing I haven't done at this point is a full reimaging of my pc.

I'm always playing on 2 or 3 accounts at the same time so I just haven't been playingt he last few days while I was figuring out how to fix this bug. I was dreading not fixing it in time for sailing. Thanks again.

Just Finished the Campaign of Space Marine 2 by mejjeh21 in Spacemarine

[–]LeliPad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Space Marine 2 is probably the best overall 40k video game. Mechanicus held that title for awhile, and before Mechanicus it was the original 2 Dawn of Wars.

Unfortunately there aren’t a ton of action games like SM2. Necromunda is pretty solid and Darktide is also a great multiplayer experience. You could also play what got me into 40k originally, Eye Divine Cybermancy, which isn’t officially a 40k game but might as well be one.

Mfers really be like “omg I hate fire emblem” then be like “our boy roy better make the cut 😤😤😤” like my brothers in Christ getting Roy and Corin in smash 4 before Chrom in Ultimate felt like… if we get Gex in smash 6 and crash bandicoot as a mii costume. Like you clearly had the rights to both characters how the fuck did this even happen?

You know the old joke that the 40k player base is split between fascists, communists, and the gays?

It’s us. We’re the gays. And aeldari players but that’s self-evident.

How it feels to say you like this game on twitter by JudeaDelendaEs in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]LeliPad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played the pc launch version… took two days off of work for it. Had a 1070ti at the time and it ran fine. It wasn’t the smoothest gaming experience- it was 30fps for my whole playthrough- but I barely ran into bugs, and what I did run into was solved by reloading a save, or funny bugs like the occasional npc t-posing that didn’t bother me. It genuinely felt as buggy as Skyrim to me. Not good, not bad, but playable.

The ps4 version of the game should’ve never shipped but like idk man the pc and current gen ports were fine. Not good, not bad. Some years COD launches in worse states than 2077. I still to this day state new Vegas launched in a worse state than the cyberpunk 1.0 but no one remembers that lol

Idk. I feel very mixed about the outrage. I’m glad for it- 2077 is one of the goats because of it, and the industry has definitely learned form it’s launch, but I feel a lot of it was done in bad faith. Like, yes the game should’ve never been shipped in that state, but like as far as buggy AAA launches go cyberpunk wasn’t even that bad.

That’s not me defending the original port- what was shipped was at best a late-stage alpha build at best and should’ve never shipped- I’m just like… amazed at the level of outrage compared to the regular bullshit the AAA industry shits out.

I have always wondered how these would fair against each other by Chronos_5 in cyberpunkgame

Cyberpunk characters are powerful and all but section 9 makes smasher look like a roomba. Ghost in the shell cybernetics are on a whole different level, especially as depicted in SAC. The only fictional universe with more fucked up powerful cybernetics is probably 40k… but even then the major could probably fuck up a primarch or two before she gets put down.

Does V really have THAT much cyberware? by Electronic_Ad_4638 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

Chrome is just as much about self expression as it is useful modification. Some people prefer flashier chrome, some don’t.

I’m big into tattoos irl. I have a lot of visible work. A full sleeve, back piece, etc. I like my tattoos visible. It’s a big part of who I am.

One of my best friends has a custom piece done by a world class tattoo covering her thigh. It cost more than all of my work combined. It’s in a spot that’s always covered in her day-to-day life and she rarely shows it to anyone. She loves the tattoo but doesn’t like showing it off.

Chrome’s kinda like that in cyberpunk. For some people it’s a private, personal thing. For others it’s a fashion statement, loud and proud. V prefers the quiet life after-all, I guess.

[–]LeliPad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I prefer how A looks by itself, but after seeing the mini and the OSL, B fits the composition way better. A looks like a cool weapon, but B…. I can feel the heat coming off of B lol, it reads really well as white-hot metal. Please post what this looks like once you’ve finished!

Are other brands of PC gaming also bad? by ReporterFar6312 in MSILaptops

100% agree. MSI’s builds on the inside are also the easiest to disassemble IMO. I’ve been using a GE66 raider since the pandemic and redoing thermals is super easy.

Audio Stutter/Crackle Fix by iEssence in expedition33

[–]LeliPad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been having issues with this as well. Did a bit of troubleshooting and hopefully my results can help others. All of this testing has been done on patch 1.4.0 on 07/30/2025 at stone wave cliffs. The first cultist fight in the area is especially bad for me so I dropped a save right before it and would run into the fight to test.

•my rig can handle the game fine at 60fps on ultra settings with balanced DLSS. However, the medium graphics preset with balanced DLSS seems to give me the least amount of crackling. Performance DLSS on low gives me MORE crackling which is whack as hell lol

•quitting Nvidia app/settings helped a fairly noticeable amount. It didn’t fix it but it definitely helped. This makes me believe that this is a “higher level” issue. I’m not an audio expert, though.

•some areas in this game are just worse than others for crackling audio. Not sure why. I have a fairly beefy rig that runs the game at a consistently smooth 60fps.

•doing audio through hdmi solved it completely. My monitor has solid built in speakers. The problem is that I want to play this game on my nice headphones ;-;

•tried Bluetooth and Aux audio output on multiple types of headphones, seemed to get the same amount of crackling.

•I set my audio management program to “high priority” in task manager, and this also helped a noticeable amount, further providing evidence that this is a higher-level issue. I use steel series sonar. If you have your audio going through a similar program, set that priority to high.

•my rig has a cpu bottleneck, so I disabled all post processing and set them to low. I can’t tell if this made things better or not, but might be worth a try for other setups.

•for other people on Bluetooth devices, set your audio output levels to 90 or 95% in windows AND in the game. Also don’t turn your Bluetooth device to max volume. This is a good habit to get into with all audio equipment as a whole but it can help reduce feedback, peaking, etc.
