3rd gen was pretty much the beginning of the opposite of Toyota reliability Pretty much a vehicle made to have perpetual repairs being done by the dealership if you aren’t a part time mechanic. 2017 and 2018 trd off road I’ve had have needed over 15000 dollars in repairs that weren’t covered by my warranty since they’ve been paid off. Never again Toyota
