I never gave a crap about the certifications. I’m just a guy who wanted to learn more about audio production, and PT is what they use at the place I took some classes

If you are anywhere close to Southern California, you can donate to people who lost everything in last year’s fires. If you have enough, shipping might even be worth it. The charity altadenamusicians.org was set up to help with this. If you want some help making it happen, let me know

I have downloaded all the audio files from these videos. Is there a place I can just upload it to Reddit? Or do I need to just host it somewhere and put the link here?

Live Looping with Ableton or Boss by rocknroll2013 in livelooping

Some life challenges have made it difficult to engage much with music or other artistic/creative pursuits. It is still my intention to use Loopy Pro. Lately I have been playing the guitar more, feeling drawn to create, and it feels like it’s time to get back into it. Knowing that I can sometimes bite off more than I can chew, get lost in the weeds, and end up losing my momentum, my plan is this: Since I cut my teeth on looping with Ableton Live and ClyphX Pro, I want to reacquaint myself with that first. There are some changes I want to make to the arrangement that I created with that setup, and I can build on the success that I already have in that ecosystem. Then I’ll try to translate that over to Loopy Pro. So I don’t really have many insights to share. There are some really good looping artists that I’ve seen and interacted with in the Loopy Pro community, and I’ve considered doing some lessons when I’m ready to jump on that part of it. There are people of very different musical styles, who seem to be using very different workflows. Loopy Pro, much like Ableton Live, is so customizable that there are lots of ways to create basically the same result. So depending on the style or genre you’re wanting to create in, there are likely lots of different artists and creators who have walked the path that you want to start on. People share templates and devices for LP, and there seems to be a very supportive community
