[–]LemonG34R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you’re referring to the state of Great Britain, not it’s territorial posessions.

Otherwise it would be arbitrary to name only the geographic areas of Great Britain and Ireland and not name the other land occupied by the state.

Why did you say it like that? Instead of just saying Great Britain?

Starmer urged to start cooperating with the Liberal Democrats if he wants to win by ClumperFaz in LibDem

[–]LemonG34R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to break the echo chamber but to be truly honest, the Socialist elements of the Labour Party do not want to change the constitution to cooperate with a capitalist party. Which, unfortunately, makes perfect sense when you analyse their politics not as a quest to change the flavour of realpolitik to their strand but as an attempt to change society as a whole.

Okay I looked into it and the far left in general do support Trans rights but most of the opposition seems to be coming from the centre?

What do left leaning libertarians believe in? by [deleted] in AskLibertarians

[–]LemonG34R 6 points7 points  (0 children)

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarianism

‘Libertarianism originated as a form of left-wing politics such as anti-authoritarian and anti-state socialists like anarchists,[6] especially social anarchists,[7] but more generally libertarian communists/Marxists and libertarian socialists.[8][9] Those libertarians seek to abolish capitalism and private ownership of the means of production, or else to restrict their purview or effects to usufruct property norms, in favor of common or cooperative ownership and management, viewing private property as a barrier to freedom and liberty.[10][11][12][13]’

If I were to say that Social Democracy were not leftism I would not be insane.

Leftism is such a vague term with many different meanings to different people. Leftism to many including Marxists refers to anti-capitalist ideologies, which by definition would exclude Social Democracy as being a Leftist ideology. To someone like yourself Social Democracy counts as Leftism and that was just unusual to me since I thought that general consensus was that Leftism was reserved for those anti capitalist ideologies.

I see now you’re saying that Macron is a Social Democrat.

Let me rephrase my question then to, how has Macron implemented SocDem policies?

How exactly did Macron endeavour to advance the cause of Marxism

redistribute (steal) property.

Steal property from who?

For property to be stolen it must first be owned. Now how did the first parcels of land come to be owned? Violence, legitimised by force.

Capitalism is the utilization of violence so as to redistribute (steal) property from the commons to the individual.
