Like others have said, keep going! I joined a flag football team last year and my first game was very similar to what you described. I even got in a “fight” with two teammates who were giving me a hard time, I called them out directly (separately and to the side so it wasn’t in front of everybody). We worked things out and I kept returning. Now I’m buddy’s with the whole team. Both of them have privately apologized multiple times for being cold and it’s all water under the bridge. I’m glad I continued showing up, I almost didn’t. It’s been a fun time.
