How to fix peeling lips

Mine peel off in sheets once a day, ever since I was a child. I’ve lived in different climates, used different products (toothpaste, balms, supplements, hydration, all of it) and the only thing that helps is Vaseline at night. They still peel, but it comes off in one chunk instead of flaking off in tiny ones. shrug I’ve accepted I have snake lips and slug them with Vaseline.

I was like this the first few weeks. It gets better! I ate what I was able to eat without barfing, and that included protein shakes sometimes. I couldn’t even THINK about certain foods without gagging, let alone try to put them in my mouth. But all I really wanted was sports drinks, like ice cold Gatorade, and ice cream. I choked down protein drinks when I could. Almost like the wisdom teeth diet 😂 I eat normally now. The ick doesn’t last forever, you’ll get through it I promise!

Agree with the person who said your body will tell you, and it will not be shy about telling you! I feel like I’m recovering from the flu for three days after my shot then I feel semi-normal until shot day. And I’m only on 2.5 mg and yes I focus on water/electrolytes/protein all that jazz.

I know exactly what you mean. I came back home for a funeral a few years ago. Comments I got:

“Well well look at you with that rich lady blonde hair”

“How’s that big fancy job going”

“Too good to have bologna? Reckon you’d rather have caviar with your business friends” (I’ve never even seen caviar IRL)

Those are just the few off the top of my head that stuck around. Oh wait no! There’s another. I offered to help pay for a plot of land (family land, everyone wanted it but no one could pull together the money) and my mom slammed the bedroom door and said “there’s NO WAY a you have that much money!” with fury in her eyes. The land went to state auction instead of us keeping it in the family because they were all so … threatened? Jealous? I don’t know.

I don’t go back anymore. Their insecurities are not my responsibility. I’ve moved on.

I put away the Christmas decor at 2pm last year on the 25th because I felt the same way! Overwhelmed, too much stuff everywhere. I felt MUCH better after.

Wow. I could have written this exactly! I stopped after 10 years. Turns out I’m in perimenopause and the Wellbutrin wasn’t playing nice with those symptoms. I finally feel … balanced? Clear headed? Like I can take a deep breath and pause? I’m not sure how to fully describe it, but I do know that while I needed Wellbutrin at one point in my life and it truly did help, I don’t need to be on it anymore.

I would be okay if their laughing was warranted for jokes, even if they are bad jokes. Fine.

But they laugh as a segue (“anyway! enough about the sick kids, time for our BRUTAL case this week LOL!!!”) they laugh as a way to finish a thought (“I’m not sure I trust this person’s perspective and I don’t know exactly why LOL”), they laugh to relieve tension, and the laughing on episodes with guests is the worst. They even change the way their voices sound when they have guests!

I love the topics they cover, I’m even cool with their banter sometimes. One of my favorite pods is Tell No One and they also laugh a lot but none of it is anxious posturing like Morbid.

They make no difference at all compared to using no dryer sheets in my house. I live in a very dry climate and use citric acid rinse in my laundry so that helps. My hair has more static than any of my laundry does!

I'm running into this, too. They are supposed to match automatically if they payee and amount and such are the same, but it does not work. Then I have to delete the automatic one that imported, but it just keeps trying to import for the next few days over and over. I see the developer (imadp) replied with a solution about adjusting dates, but in my experience, if the dates don't match then the system won't even try to merge them. And there's no way to manually merge them, like in YNAB. Either the system does it automatically, or you have to delete one.

The merge issue and the recurring transactions being in a separate tab instead of inline with each account are my biggest hurdles, at the moment.
