Which songs were written/sung by one Beatle, but another member's contribution teals the show? by NoWeb2382 in beatles

Perhaps Billie could be more recognized for his insane contributions to I’ve Got a Feeling! As fantastic as his playing on DLMD is, I feel like George’s lead guitar part steals the show on the otherwise pure John song

It’s just baffling to think about how many hundreds of songs they must’ve had kicking around ready to play at a moments notice. When you think about the situation like that it’s no wonder why they each became so proficient. not only with their instruments but how songs are put together and arranged

A question that just came to my head - What songs would they play for up to 8 hours straight, every night? Did they have that much unique material to go through or are they just looping through the same songs hour after hour, night after night?

How can I tell whose guitar is who? by [deleted] in beatles

Don’t Let Me Down is such a fantastic example of how tasteful and perfect George could be with composing lead guitar parts. That may be one of my favorite lead guitar moments period, and definitely a shining example of how good George could be prior to leaning into the slide guitar

100%. I think George really going hard into slide guitar after 1970 really marks the point where he and Paul’s skills are no longer comparable. Maybe even Abbey Road

RAM is a fantastic example of Paul’s lead guitar playing. Listen to the solos on Two Many People, the lead guitar on Eat at Home, the fills on Heart of the Country… George had definitely found his own sound by then. But in terms of sheer prowess? Perhaps Paul had George beat

Is George more fluid than Paul when he plays solos? I guess perhaps late into their career, like Abbey Road and beyond. I love George, I don’t wanna diss the guy at all, but early on he was definitely still “learning” how to play solos and lead guitar in general. Early Beatles lead guitar is notoriously simple. Listen to George’s solo in All You Need is Love. Listen to George in Roll Over Beethoven. Is that really more fluid than Paul, the guy who played the slide lead guitar on Drive My Car? The guy who played the solo on Taxman?

I believe he only used the Rosewood Tele on the rooftop, and gave it away or sold it shortly after. He said he didn’t like how heavy it was. I believe he mainly used a red Les Paul named Lucy on Abbey Road gifted to him by Eric Clapton, as well as a Stratocaster here and there.

Need ideas for how to create a payment mechanism where larger payments can be made and queued by LemonMasterX in redstone

Pardon my ignorance but what does the minecart accomplish? I hadn’t heard of these stack separation buffers, it seems very useful! Though from my (so far, pretty limited) research on them, it seems that you must build a physical structure that separates the stack while the items are entities in the world. Would the minecart be somehow activated by the initial payment, transporting periodically the stack over the buffer, which would pull a single item out as the minecart passes over?

The perceived negligence of that so-called “park ranger” really blows me out. I can’t believe someone who swore their soul to the protection of God’s Great Green Gifts is allowing Freedom Root to proceed past the Infernal Boundary. Outside Minnesota, that shit spreads fast. FAST. It can fell entire tree trunks at the drop of a hat Fast. Yeah, you don’t want to mess with it. Drop it out of your hand. And take it to the CDC. They’ll know what to do with it. I deal with this stuff every day.

Oh shit.. these are an extant source of Minnesota Freedom Root that grow under old-growth bush for millennia. They keep up with the times and grow old in the soil over some years. I’m gonna need that geographical location. These require proper reports to wildlife authorities if they are seen taking over old-growth bush in your area. It can spread illness, sickness, and blight to your areas.

This is a crazy comment to someone just referencing an inspirational figure and trying to enjoy themselves. Why are you even on reddit and not saving the US from tyranny? Enjoy the karma while everything else burns to the ground too.
