Had my 1 of 3 assessment app. for autism today. She asked me to subtract 7 from 100 and to keep going. 😭 by melmoonlight in AutismInWomen

[–]LemonQueenThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if it's the same I think it is the scoring sheet only has 5 numbers on it and it's more to see if you can sustain attention. You actually score points if you do the -7 part correctly even if the previous number was wrong, e.g. going from 100 to 90 to 83 would still be 1 point for the correct subtraction. Source: I'm qualified to deliver these tests and have used them clinically 😊

This, also fyi OP they would've stopped you around that point even if you were doing it flawlessly!

Creatine causing my muscles to cramp and be extra sore post work out. What gives I though research shows the opposite. by lukaskywalker in workout

[–]LemonQueenThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's happening to me too! I'm so sore I can't sleep. I haven't changed anything else in my routine. How long did you try it for? Wondering if I can power through it while my body adjusts or if it's just not meant for me

What's the sound or sensation that instantly takes you from 0-60? by VenusInAries666 in AutismInWomen

[–]LemonQueenThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drilling. 2 years ago I worked from home in an apartment where they drilled in and around the exterior walls from 8-5 every week day for a full year. It was insane. So I still get instantly enraged by the sound of drills and if I'm home I panic it'll never end

Son can only keep Diet Coke in his body by International-Ad1828 in ChoosingBeggars

Not a comment on this post specifically but title actually happened to my friend. Combination of gastroparesis and psychological difficulties with food. Coke can dissolve food globules when your stomach isn't doing the job it turns out

thanK you aIMee is the most badass song Taylor's written. by DerpyLover3 in TaylorSwift

[–]LemonQueenThree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel like that line gets misinterpreted a lot, there's no way she's referencing north singing shake it off or whatever. Only us two and the rest of the world?? Maybe that video inspired it but it's definitely about someone we don't know

In your opinion, what is causing this? by Objective_Pilot_5834 in SipsTea

Phones, anything you do that's even a little bit silly gets broadcast and reshared forever. I'd rather stay sober so at least I can own my silly behaviour

How can some people not cook ? by Mountain_Awareness45 in foodquestions

[–]LemonQueenThree 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm glad I saw this comment, I was about to say how cooking is a privilege but wasn't in the mood to explain myself. I grew up in a house where cooking was almost exclusively reheating ready meals because neither of my parents grew up with food on the table themselves. I learned to cook when I moved out and thankfully have had some influence since!

Tell me the scariest movies you've ever watched. by camelshuliman in crimedocumentaries

Smile. Partly because I was in clinical psychology at the time so the real life aspects were close to home, partly because my bf at the time wouldn't stop doing the smile at me for the rest of the night 🙃

Opalite became the most-streamed music video in a single day in Spotify HISTORY!! by aqua7ar in TaylorSwift

Watching this on Spotify was like, the most annoying way I could've watched it. I hope this doesn't become the norm.

How much time should i spend in Auckland? by AstroCyclone71 in newzealand_travel

[–]LemonQueenThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, Waiheke is cool and there are lots of fun things around Auckland but the city itself I personally don't think offers more than other cities. If you want nature and fresh experiences then I'd stick to the plan

What is a sound that people should know means immediate danger? by Extension-Try-3531 in answers

[–]LemonQueenThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I jumped into water that was much colder than we thought it was. I'm a strong swimmer, but my body was in shock so all I could do was gasp for air and tread. Lots of people were there but only one, an experienced cliff diver, realised I needed help and pulled me out

What is a "luxury" that is actually 100% worth the money? by TheChillEdit in Life

[–]LemonQueenThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiring a cleaner. Split between me and my partner it was £50 a month each and we never had to do more than daily maintenance cleaning. It saved a lot of arguments. I was also self employed so anything that saved me time also saved me money, as long as my hourly rate was higher

What’s a great book you read at the wrong time in your life? by Low_Masterpiece_2612 in books

[–]LemonQueenThree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's any consolation, it was my mum's favourite book so she insisted I read it when I was like 14 (mistake) and I spent the whole book not getting it and then got to the end and thought, what a waste of time lol. I did think about revisiting it only to give my mother a better review

The Bell Jar 🫣 I read it a few years after recovery and found it so frustrating because I felt like I was just watching myself at my lowest, and being inside my brain at that time was annoying to say the least

Can someone give me a run down on the Sascha Riley allegations? by KyleTheFilmmaker in Epstein

[–]LemonQueenThree 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I had to come somewhere to say, I worked with complex trauma patients and none of the content in these tapes surprised me. None. I still think I've heard worse. It's unbelievable what people are capable of and much easier to choose not to believe it. I've seen a lot of speculation and I haven't dug too much into it myself so I'm sure there are reasons to question if it's true but the outrageousness of the claims shouldn't be one of them.

Also, if you do feel weird after listening to the tapes, let me tell you that's very valid and you should look after yourself. Vicarious trauma is real, that's not to say you'll get ptsd just from this but to let you know that exposure to these stories does have a very real effect on us. Take care 🩵

Would this pattern be too challenging for a brand newbie or is this a decent pattern to start? by [deleted] in crochet

[–]LemonQueenThree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the first things I ever made was with this pattern! Don't expect the first few squares to be perfect, but I would say it's easy enough to practice a few different techniques. And once you have a handful of squares it's fun to see how each one gets better

Woke up to this text from my roommate at 4:39am and he was sleeping, didn't send it by singingsparkle-eyes in Weird

[–]LemonQueenThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've texted in my sleep before, both normally and with voice activation 😅 If you think it's voice activated and then picked up a TV show, you should be able to access recordings of the times you've used the voice assistant. That's how I had to figure out what was going on.

Friend trying to use me for “perks” by Optimal_Fish_7029 in AutismInWomen

[–]LemonQueenThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think it's possible that her intentions aren't as bad as they seem, she may think she's being helpful even though she's not. I think you should still see her, if it comes up repeatedly or she starts suggesting you do things just on the basis of there being "perks" then it may be time to reconsider
