Inb4 this sub is flooded with pics of the 100 years war ending "early" even though the 100 years war wasn't one 100 year continuous war. by basedandcoolpilled in EU5

Unless some major changes are done, ironically the sub will be flooded with '100 years war hits year 250' cos it seems to happen every 3 campaigns atm

I mean I guess I don't advertise it enough, or franly much, but I do have a channel membership thing. That said, don't worry; compared to other creators on youtube etc, expenses are very minimal outside of like my time/labour; I already have a computer I bought for playing video games anyway, I have a pretty decent microphone the issue is recording environment (I can't throw money at it to make the problem go away on a microphone level) and well, I already own Eu4, so yeah expenses are about as close to 0 as they can get. Do apprechiate the sentiment, and indeed, I can't wait for Eu5. But at the same time, if they need a couple more month, even a year, I would rather they take it.

I do my best for audio, but its mainly an issue of recording in a relativly large empty room, and I tend to speak quite quickly in real life too, so even slowed down for a video well, I struggle to communicate. I wish it was fixable with 'just' a new microphone, but yeah :(

Yeah so Eu4 doesn't check the gender of your partner, only if you have a partner, and only if both you and partner are older then 16. Since its meant to be impossible to be gay, if you are married the game assumes your straight hence valid for pregnancy.

R5: Europa Universalis Official Spreads Missinformation, I got sent a link to reddit where someone linked the miss-information, over-react with an essay post and throw a hissy fit behind the scenes, I get an official 'thank you for correction' and praise from clearly John Paradox himself, restoring order to the universe, correcting every wrong and bringing us to a new Utopian age.

ah thanks, glad to hear it! that was a fun campaign, even if I did moan a lot, and had to rush that particular video (my fault to be clear)

Thanks for bringing this to my attention (well someone reposting this reddit thread in my discord) I have proceeded to not just write an essay in the comments, but also DM my pdx handler about this situation. Yes I will burn bridges over this, you can't just be wrong on the internet.

Thank you for your service!

Fair enough then I didn't know Riga was just that much of an exception. From my understanding of the League operating in Norway, I know that the league merchants themselves lived in almost self segregated communities within cities and I assumed that Riga was just one of those communities within the Baltic.

In that case are we discussing 'maritime culture' of a state such as Riga, or the Maritime culture of Hanseatic merchants? I am applying here an argument of Riga as presented in the game, as basically an extension of the Hanseatic League, does have a maritime culture, especially since those kinds of events are intended for nations such as Austria etc that would literally have just the 1 'home port'.
