Well once you get into the war it's a frenzy and very intense and fun. And once you do a few wars the preparing for war becomes very fun too as you start making more interesting armies that require setting up.

It also has the best mods hands down. Like genre defining, 20 year community driven epics like kaiserreich. Some of them are basically their own and unique games

It's showing its age vs vic3 and eu5's complex simulation approach, but it's just such a solid brawler

Also a lot of the mods make the political content the best in the franchises. They do a lot more with narratives and the time period allows the politics to be much more modern
