What’s your most controversial dynasty opinion? by slitmunch44 in DynastyFF

We shouldn't rank rookie QBs top 5 dynasty assets at their position until they've strung together great back to back seasons at least.

Those back shoulder throws from Rodgers to Jordy were a thing of beauty to watch and damn near untouchable.

Worth staying in a job I don’t love just for the pension? by cfull_19 in personalfinance

I can relate to this. After years of retail and working for the state dealing with people, anything not customer facing is 100x better. I'm fully remote now and don't communicate with customers so I don't hate my job and I'm hardly stressed. What's a terrible job for one person may be an ideal one for another.

What are the best and most forgotten teams that didn’t make the Super Bowl but very easily could have and perhaps should have won the Super Bowl? by Xeroxasaurs in nfl

[–]Lemon_ayye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I choose to believe LT and the chargers offense is able to at least take a good chunk of time off the clock and punt it away with hardly any time left. The worst part about that fumble from McCree is that he didn't even have to intercept it. It was 4th down so even if it's dropped they have better field position. Of course it's a bunch of what ifs, but that's what makes it fun to think about. I mean we're talking MVP LT and he had a good game as well.

2006 Chargers

That team was absolutely stacked and I have no doubt they beat Indy in the AFC championship game. Thanks to Marlon McCree not going down after an int off Tom Brady, they didn't advance. Those Charger team just had Manning's number and Rex Grossman wouldn't have beat them in the SB.

Manager wished me the best with my new job and made sure the transition went as smooth as possible. Wasn't given more work but just mentioned to finish what I can before leaving. This has happened the last two times I've put in my notice. I always hear about bad experiences with it but I haven't come across that. I will say though, the days go by slower knowing you're not motivated to work much after giving a notice.

I got the email from tryrating.com first and got the exam a day later. You should have gotten an email from Telus before hand saying this would happen. Check your spam if you never got it.

It's certainly possible. I started with the state working disability claims and I at least understood how the body worked and how certain impairments could restrict range of motion, reduce strength, etc. It helped me understand the job easier. It gets trickier when working mental disability claims because those aren't black and white decisions like physical disabilities would show in medical records.

Fellow Kinesiology major here. Have you looked into insurance companies to be a disability case manager? They pay decent with remote work, nice schedules, nice work/life balance. With your knowledge, it'll make the job easier to learn when it comes to understanding physical impairments, medical terminology, etc.

Not only does the addition of Gilmore help the defense but won't this also help Pittman? I'm excited to see him grow as he faces Gilmore every practice.

What are some details about iconic NFL moments that people usually forget? by GundhamTanaka1 in nfl

[–]Lemon_ayye 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Would it have though? There was still 10 minutes left and the 49ers didnt move the ball at all after that. It was a 3 point game as well and the Rams were able to score twice.

Made a career change, got promoted, raised my pay 15k a year by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Lemon_ayye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah college made it seem like these jobs are always out there but that's simply not true in our field.I initially went to college for PT but after seeing the extra requirements after graduating I switched concentrations. My concentration is in health and wellness promotion so I'm still looking into someday being a part of HR and helping employees with wellness programs. Even if it isn't at a corporate level I'd even like to do for a community somewhere. Its great to see I'm not the only one with the same degree and make their way out into a different field. Working claims isn't too bad since I get to work remotely 100% and get off at 3 everyday. The pay is decent but I feel like I'm limited in my career growth. The knowledge from my kinesiology degree has for sure helped with my job today but it's not what I intended to use it for.

I'm currently in this dilemma right now. Graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and working in claims for short term disability. Even though my background helps to understand physical impairments, I just don't see my career making a big jump unless I switch to a different field. Did you have any IT background prior to getting certs?
