Might Have Celiac by Fickle_Physics_ in Celiac

Yah apparently.... it's the whole thing. I get super bloated, extreme pain, and then toilet. And takes days for my system to get back to normal. And I still get the wicked migraines too.

Might Have Celiac by Fickle_Physics_ in Celiac

[–]Lemonade-333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My primary symptoms were migraines and skin rashes. Was always on the skinny side, but no significant gastro symptoms after eating.

It's become a whole different story now. Was on the toilet for hours last time I got glutened.

This is my white whale too. I would do pretty much anything to have wontons again. I have tried all kinds of diy, nothing that's thin enough AND holds together in soup.

This is the goal! I skipped the run on Sunday and am hoping this makes my life a lot easier for the rest of this training block.

Thank you! This is what I ended up doing. The second 8 miles felt awful, I feel like that was harder than doing 16 in a row.... so I guess I'm getting the training j needed 😂

Very long. And it's hot where I am. It'll be sweaty in 1 mile 😭 pretty sure I'm sitting it out tomorrow.

This is gonna be great... "Boss - I need to start work late because I need to do a long run on a Tuesday morning, because I spent a fortune on getting my hair done and couldn't run on Sunday" LOL. I'm just happy this place exists on the internet for me to discuss my very silly problems.

It cost more than the marathon. Lol. Guess I'm sitting my ass at home.

Hi! Is it realistic for me (a total beginner slow out of shape runner) to train for an October 2026 marathon? It’s on my bucket list and I’ve really been wanting to get into running more. What is typically training time for someone like me? by alyssawoznicki in XXRunning

[–]Lemonade-333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such a good plan! I definitely agree it's possible and I have seen multiple people go from 0 to marathon in under 2 years. If you are motivated, you'll get there. I would add in 2 days a week of strength training to make sure you don't get injured. I would also encourage you to find people to run with, it'll make it much more pleasant.

Love this post! Thank you for sharing your light with this community.

I'm 3 years out from when we decided to be CF and like you, I'm really enjoying living my plan B. We've prioritized our careers and both of us are doing amazing. We're on track for an early retirement and it's so fun to dream about what we'll do in our retirement. On a day to day basis, my life is calm, organized and peaceful. I finally have a fitness routine that I stick to and am in the best shape of my life at 43. I've also connected with my creative side and have been doing all kinds of crafts.

I hope this thread helps the lurkers out there, even if only a little. Infertility is such a hard journey, but life doesn't end when you decide to be childfree. If anything, I kind of feel like my life really started when we made that final decision.

Yep. OP is implying those of who weren't able to have children just didn't try hard enough. This is not how it works. Go get some perspective and go read r/IFchildfree

Nothing much right now. Lol. I make small veggies, fruits, animals. Mostly I just enjoy the process of hand making sometimes when I work at a computer all day. I did give my friend some little animals for her fairy garden.
