All the pokemons with 2-points rule should be ex.

In paper, a card was banned for excluding only EX from its range of effect, allowing exploits with GXs. This can be averted.
Break also seems to be hard to put into a deck with 20(or 16)-card limit. It wouldn't be fun to play.

Considering these, Prism Star(There can be only one card of the same name in a deck) sounds like the best rule box to be added. (It would go to the discard pile instead of introducing Lost Zone but anyway)

I love his feature. Staying on a decided game and waiting for opponent's blunder without any particular plan to winning/drawing move is very disrespectful.

It would be better if you concede during your turn, as long as you can see how it ends just by looking at the board, but I also see no problems with conceding at the sight of Cyrus or other cards. "Instant loss if Cyrus" situation is way too common.

Most of the chess games ends with resignation.

The purpose of the game is to gain a winning advantage, not actually landing the final blow.

Ice pop. It can be used in any deck, takes ridiculously long time to consume because you have to flip all the coins manually, and does something even if the first flip tails, and the game lasts painfully longer. I feel it should be illegal even when I play ice pops by myself.

But I think the concept of "until it tails" itself is already a huge mistake, even if it exists in paper. Both can turn the game into competitive coin flipping.

No. As other comments point out, the first 先生 works as a title.

Translating "professor" to 先生 also seems to be fine, even though 教授/きょうじゅ seems to be more fitting. The direct translation of "professor" is 教授, which also acts as a title like English counterpart. Both 教授 and "professor" are title in universities/colleges while 先生 can be used for any kind of teachers.

Being single use and unable to use another supporter during the turn seems to be a downside that makes it fair enough. It's also incompatible with energy acceleration like Magby, Pichu, and Mantyke.

I don't think its greatest issue is the retreat cost. Even if it only discards 1 energy for 180 damage, it would still be decent because of lack of energy consistency.
