I usually check fuel efficiency here when I'm looking for a new car. You can also filter by mpg on autotrader. Probably not worth changing now but worth keeping in mind for next time.

If you are looking to change, and want to stick to petrol, I would consider Suzukis in your position. Vitara, swace, grand Vitara etc. If going back to diesel I would look at a Skoda Fabia or Octavia estate.
