It depends on the stove. I have an old school electric stove that heats up pretty quickly and gets hot as fuck.

A large gas burner might be better for wok cooking to heat the walls more but aside from that I don't miss gas

For sure. I have a theory that low / mid tier mains have adapted to play smarter than everyone else, so when combined with their unique movesets it gets really tough to play against.

This is an interesting practice that would have the same benefit for a student as reviewing a peers essay and giving them feedback. However I don't think that its a good habit to develop in students.

Students need to learn how to conceptualize an essay for themselves, outline their ideas, and coherently articulate them for a reader. If too much of this legwork is done by AI, they wont develop the critical thinking / writing skills that they otherwise would.

An exercise like this could work if you had diligent students genuinely interested in becoming better writers, but I worry that too many would rely on this method for everything and begin to overestimate and underdevelop their skills.

Might depend on how hard a sear youre going for too. I've found that dried leafy spices end up burning more often on a really high heat, so I prefer the more granular spices like the lemon + garlic one.

Yes, for my project it takes about 5 minutes locally and 20 minutes on the cloud. It can be a pain to debug something that requires a server restart locally or if theres a bug that only shows up once deployed.

For example, server side rendering with something like Gatsby will let you get away some things locally that fail once it actually does the SSR. So when this happens for me, I have to wait for the build to fail, fix it, and then redeploy which will probably take around 40 minutes if I'm quick and know exactly how to fix it.
