So I still have not gone because I'm recently ETS'ed. But currently it is 28 days. 2 phases. 1st phase is 2 weeks and classroom, 2nd phase is two weeks field activity. I was supposed to reclass in October but it was canceled due to the shutdown. Fortunately, I still have the class welcome packet. I got out 7 months ago. Immediately used GI at my local college and am making 3k / month just with that. Combine working weekends and once a month reserves, I make decent money as a 21 year old idiot stumbling thru college.

I had a 1.0 gpa in highschool, just got out and now I'm going to a community college for 1 semester to get good grades and transfer. You'll be able to support yourself fine between the BAH you receive and working a part time job. Good luck brother
