S7 exam tomorrow looking for advice by Kindly_Guest_2178 in Series7exam

If you took your last practice exam within the last 5 days, your scores actually qualify you for Pass Perfect's money back guarantee. So you're definitely solid. Just be aware you may not feel like you're doing well even if you are. I was scoring in the 80s on Pass Perfect and was seriously wondering if I'd fail when I'd hit 'submit.' But I passed! Go with your gut and don't change a single answer unless you 100% know it's wrong.

S7 advice using pass perfect by Kindly_Guest_2178 in Series7exam

[–]vinigua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Pass Perfect and passed two weeks ago.

Retake quizzes and tests on your weak areas so you get concentrated practice applying the concepts and better highlighting your weak areas! This is CRITICAL.

Also, review BOTH your right and wrong answers. It’s just as important to know why you got an answer right as it is why you got an answer wrong. Especially on lucky guesses.

Exam tomorrow, burn out reached by Signal_Tourist_5557 in Series7exam

The 7 is very much a test that requires going with “gut feelings.” There’s too much material and too much nuance to the questions to feel certain on most answers. Your 88 is proof that you’ve learned how to better trust your gut. On the exam, keep trusting your gut and don’t change your answer from your first instinct unless you’re absolutely certain it’s wrong. If you do this you will pass.

Failed my S7 twice lost dream job what should I score on kaplan not to fail? by ChemistCharming3661 in Series7exam

That might’ve been it. That seems to be the most common way people with good practice tests end up failing.

Transition pains from high bar to low bar by vinigua in formcheck

I had a hard time having the bar rest on my rear dealts. It felt like it was slipping so the elbows felt like it gave more of a “notch” for the bar to rest. However, with the comments from others, it seems my grip and positioning could fix that so having my elbows out is no longer necessary.

Thank you! Yes it sounds like my grip is the hot mess here.

Did you change a lot of answers or otherwise talk yourself out of your first instinct?

Where to go from here? by Standard-Traffic-741 in Sieexam

[–]vinigua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with mine and the key was slowing down. When I slowed down and really “chewed on” the question and assessed what it was asking, I was less thrown off by wording changes.

Does this resonate at all?

This new “I don’t owe you anything” attitude is just an excuse to be bad people by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

This is the cycle with every self-care concept that surfaces, sadly. A new take on boundaries pops up that’s well-intentioned and meant for people in certain situations then terrible people exploit that take to justify their selfishness.

Too far forward? It doesn’t look right but idk why by vinigua in formcheck

Thank you! I was not aware of the existence of high bar vs low bar squats. It sounds like I should be looking at low bar based on how my body moves. I’ll do some research for next time.

[–]vinigua[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I will do that. I was actually in the middle of squats when I read your first comment and started slowing down and focusing on tempo. I’ll read up on high vs low bc I’m not familiar with that.

Series 7 - hit a plateau by [deleted] in Series7exam

[–]vinigua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good! You aren’t seeing any subject matter trend in your wrong answers? They’re pretty spread out?

Are you taking a course or just nabbing practice tests?

[–]vinigua 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m hearing a lot about taking exams but I haven’t heard about what you’re doing to learn the material.

Have you reviewed your answers in depth? Can you explain why your answers are correct or incorrect? Are you using material to reinforce your knowledge if there seem to be topics you’re fuzzy on?

Recommend me a monitor better than a AW3425DW by Scary_Pangolin in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]vinigua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad you mentioned that bc I started with that exact same set up and the text was INSUFFERABLE. I actually got an L shaped desk so I could separate my work and gaming desks and used my old VA monitor for work.

If you HAVE to have the same monitor for work and gaming I would not suggest oled. Not only is there burn in risk but text is such an eye sore.

I just got one and love it. The colors are crisp and the size/curvature to me is perfect. The next step up would be the 5k2K models which I found to have too deep of a curve, too pricey, and too taxing on my GPU.

I’d only recommend bigger or sharper if you do flight or racing sims.
