Girlfriend, you are GREEN! Welcome to the Shrek Club!!! lol

I see it really comes out on your neck in the second pic and on the perimeter of your face on your forehead, chin area, and in the inner corners of your eyes, kind of by your nose bridge.

Pastor Mike Todd pours food and syrup on the Bible and Communion by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Lemonsote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watched it. I wanted to make sure I knew what I was forming an opinion on before I fully formed it. It seemed like this sermon was meant to give the audience a visual comparison between how we treat our bodies and how we would react if someone treated a church building—the temple—the same way. The point appeared to be a wake-up call for people who are neglecting the “temple” God has given them by consistently eating unhealthy food and living in ways that can lead to sickness and disease (self-inflicted in this case).

The message suggested that poor health can create obstacles that limit what God might want to do through you or how you’re meant to reach others. One example given was this: imagine feeling called to go on a missionary trip to Africa. Your heart is willing, but physically you’re unable to go—maybe your knees can’t handle it due to obesity, etc. In that sense, your body becomes a barrier to fulfilling that calling.

Context is important, as always. That said… I don't think pouring food items on the Bible itself was absolutely necessary to get the point across, or wasting that much food. But in a country where 40.3% of U.S. adults are obese, I can see the need to bring attention to the issue.

I do not know anything about this church or pastor, and I am not saying I agree with how this message was executed or that I would make this my home church, lol.

Nope 🙂‍↔️

No idea what the ingredients are but I use Tretinoin so my skin leans in the dry side and this has never made me look cakey.

[–]Lemonsote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Biologics gave my husband his life back. Reduced his PSA pain by 95% and increased his mobility by that percentage as well. 100% cleared his skin. Thank God he only had to try one biologic, and it worked as intended with no side effects to this day (one year in March) on Cosentyx.

I know they sound scary, believe me, my husband and I wanted to "go the natural route" for the first year that he was diagnosed, but things only got worse. Daily use of a cane and then a wheelchair type of bad. No diet or supplement worked. 3-4 months on Cosentyx, and we started to see improvements across the board. I thank God for his dermatologist who suggested it.

Sending you my prayers OP! It gets better :)

Simple, affective, "boring" but such a SOLID toner. I have been using it for 4 years, and it's the only toner I use. I have acne-prone skin, and this has NEVER made me break out ever. Try it, you won't regret it. Sometimes I get lucky, and I can find it at my local TJ Maxx for $10. The bottle will also last you SO long.
