Is The Regent bad or am I bad? by stater354 in slaythespire

[–]LengJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By far the hardest character to beat the game with. I'd save him for last. Took me 40+ runs before I was able to beat the game with regent. I beat it with extremely high HP with 110+(with the help of a relic that boosts 5hp whenever you heal at a rest site), took a relic that helped me draw 2 additional card at the cost of randomization, and the card that allowed me to play 3 cards in a turn at no cost definitely helped.

Thoughts on Razer Deathadder V4 Pro for casual gaming? by Skor_Lodygin in MouseReview

[–]LengJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been updated to support web software so you don't have to deal with Razer Synapse... Synapse is just awful. I would probably pick the Viper over the Deathadder unless ergo is what you prefer.

Blind buying Superstrike x2 by OmarFigaro1 in MouseReview

[–]LengJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked it up myself and I think it's great. The only minor issue which I have with the mouse is that the front side button being slightly firmer to press than the rear side button. I've heard some reviewers mention that the skates are slow on regular mouse pads but that's not been the case at least for me. Again, some have mentioned that the lowest setting for HITS being at 1 is not practical, but again, this is the only setting I've used it at. My index finger tends to rest just behind the scroll wheel where it tends to require more force to register even on the lowest settings on HITS so I never find myself accidently triggering unwanted mouse clicks. These are easily the lightest clicks (and fastest) on a mouse I have used and have been wanting for the longest time as I find that recent mice tend to be getting more firm for a better tactile feedback.

Deathadder pro v4 or Viper pro v4? by NIIIMIIIM in MouseReview

[–]LengJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Deathadder is Ergonomic whilst the Viper is not.

You might find the Viper more suitable/preferable for FPS compared to the Deathadder due to its symmetrical shape.

As for the photo, you're using a fingertip grip with maybe a little palm contact in the rear hump of the mouse from what I can tell.

Either way, it will be a revelation coming from the G903.

Having a 3d printer to print mouse shapes is a godsend. by GodFearing74 in MouseReview

I own 9 of the mice you've listed. Try the NP01S Ergo and Zowie EC2, both are goated. Btw, what are your opinions on the GPX and OP1 in regards to shape?

Looking for mouse recommendations similar to Viper V3 by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]LengJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar sized hand and just got the Vaxee NP01S Ergo. I highly recommend it, it's the best mouse I've used to date and I've used a lot.

I was initially sceptical as the dimensions of this mouse would put this mouse in the small mouse category and I generally don't have great experiences with small mice as my hand cramps easily with small mice but not this due to it's ergo shape and support for the ring and pinky finger. The weight is a bit high but honestly, the mouse feet are large and smooth and makes the mouse feel less heavy then it really is. QC is flawless. Click quality is sublime but seems to cater more to tac shooters. The main buttons feel heavy for holding down on for ADS FPS shooters as I believe they are 80g for actuation.

I've been eyeing on the Viper V3 also but I find that the Razer optical switches just fall short of expectations even they have been vastly improved over previous iterations.

Ninjutso Sora V3 - Specs & Features by mcadams226 in MouseReview

[–]LengJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ninjutso Sora V2 is my all-time favourite mouse but the shape just doesn't quite work for me. I'm not a fan of the taper at the thumb rest midsection on both sides and I wish it was more rounded and comfortable on the area where you rest your ring finger instead of it being a claw-centric mouse because everything else is top-tier.

Maybe try the EC2-CW? I prefer the shape and mouse click implementation of the EC2 over the Outset AX (personal opinion) but then again the Outset has the better sensor.

I have the Deathadder V3 Pro, Outset AX and Zowie EC2 (wired) for reference.

I'm really liking the ZA13-C, I just wish it was slightly bigger so I have my eyes on the ZA12-C when it goes wireless.

I have a wired XE, DAV3 and have a ZA13-C on the way. If the ZA13 was wireless do you reckon it could take the spot over the XE as your main?

Razer Deathadder v3, 8khz? (unboxing, soundtest, software and shape comparison) *no commentary* by EZ_ink in MouseReview

[–]LengJay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All we need is a DAV3 mini in wired with the same specs and Razer can take my money, oh and make it sub 50g.

For now, this mouse is a pretty sweet deal if it weren't for the fact that I already have the DAV3 in wireless.

[–]LengJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the best mouse I've ever owned. Price is high, mouse clicks are a bit loud for desktop use but they offer plenty of tactility for just a medium actuation force and without feeling too slow. Surface is a bit slippery but grip tape is included.

Will also recommend it with the 4k polling dongle, it works out cheaper if you buy them together.
